Savannah finally gets proof that her husband, Officer Jarvis is abusive and is granted the divorce. In the divorce process, all of their family and friends side with him. They are angry that she is divorcing him, now splitting them all a part. There is no point in staying there, when everyone turned their backs on her, so she decides to start over. Somewhere fresh and new, where no-one knows her. Before she leaves though, she robs her ex-husband. She takes wads of cash and some off his jewelry. He's filthy rich, so she doesn't think he will even notice.
She thought wrong!
She takes the next bus out of her city and decides to just go until something in her tells her to get off.
She ends up in a small town, where she is offered a job the very next day. She quickly finds her footing, and she begins thriving. The locals take her in and show her the ropes. They all seem to love her.
She finds a beautiful home in the wealthiest neighborhood in the town. The type of people that live here are the type of families that streets are named after, or people with good paying jobs like judges, doctors and lawyers.
She doesn't even care if she is just a regular girl, she now has a job, her very own home, a new car, a new life.
What more can she want?
She then meets Author Miles Reeds.
Miles has writers block, so when his new next-door neighbor arrives, he sees her as new inspiration. She gives him something to do.
She is beautiful, sweet, caring and intelligent.
Suddenly, his whole time is consumed by Savannah. He is stopping by her house every day, for stup1d reasons. He is offering to help her around her house. Miles falls for Savannah, fast and hard.
The author and creator inside of him has already taken over and her mind became his. They became one, and the book basically is written in his mind on its own. A book about Savannah. To be able to write the perfect book though, he has to study her. Learn everything about his main character. It isn't too hard to do.
Miles realizes something is completely wrong and unhinged about Savannah.
Miles gets entangled in a mess of this woman's life. He is now stalking her. She becomes his obsession, and he soon realizes that he has an illness. A sickness for her than runs deep in his veins. Then he finds out her dirty little secrets.
She is not who she portrays to be.
He should run and stay away from her. He should be scared, but he is too far gone.
Now Miles has to make a decision to fight for his life or give in and let this life consume him.
