Chapter Fifty Six
“What makes it right that you were young when I was just as young? Do not forget that we are the same age!”
I said to Charlotte, still so astonished by how audacious she can really be.
“You should seriously drop it.” She said to me and I was not even sure what to think this is. Was it some kind of apology or was it some kind of way to let me know and remind me that she was indeed my worst nightmare in high school.
Whatever it was, it was absolutely laughable and annoying at the same time. Strangely enough, strangely enough I was able to feel annoyed by it and also find it hilarious.
