It was my 20th birthday, but most importantly, it was my two year anniversary with Jack. It had been two whole years since I finally won in life, getting to date my life long crush. Having to deal with my parents' death and the memories of witnessing it all happen before my eyes was the hardest thing I had to go through that year, and honestly, Jack was the reason I was able to get over it so quickly, heal faster than I thought possible. It was a no brainer that soon, my admiration for him would turn into a crush. I kept my crush on him to myself for years, fearing that I would ruin our friendship if I ever told him. So waking up on my eighteenth birthday, I prayed to the moon goddess countless times that Jack would be the one I discover is my mate. On that night, the Alpha took me as his date to one of his business dinners at one of his hotels, and Jack just so happened to be there. I smiled as flashbacks of the day came back to me. That still has to he the happiest day of my life, but today would soon take the number one place. I was going to give Jack my virginity today, as I promised him on our first day together. I quickly got out of bed to search for him. We had not talked about what we would be doing on this day yet because he had been very busy with work. He was the acting CEO of our largest trading business, and had started since our Alpha was assassinated a year ago. His father, who was the beta to our Aloha had stepped in his place and as his birth right, he would be the new Alpha's beta once he returned from training. "Good morning! Have you seen Jack?" I asked the first maid I stumbled upon. She quickly shook her head without responding to me verbally. "Okay, thank you." I said to her with a smile on my face. "Out of my way, please!" She remarked before bumping into my shoulder to walk past me. I was used to this kind of treatment. Being a werewolf meant that respect was earned. The stronger, more skilled your wolf is, the more respect you will get. In my case, not having a wolf had been a curse all my life, on top of all the rumours that had spread about me having witch DNA during high school. Wolves and Witches had been enemies for centuries, anyone suspected of being part witch had to be sentenced to death in the werewolf kingdoms. The only reason they had not killed me yet, was because of the inheritance our former Alpha, Alpha Nile left me. I would receive my shares in our companies as soon as I got married, and should I die, they would immediately be handed over to a charity. That was the only reason I was still alive, I was sure of it. I made it downstairs to the main dining room, where only the high ranking wolves dined. Jack was not in here either. I usually made him breakfast and served it to him before leaving. I was definitely early, but I needed to see him as quickly as possible. "What are you doing in here?" A deep, blunt voice jolted me out of my thoughts and I quickly turned around to face Jack's dad, Acting Alpha Bane. "I- uh... I was searching for Jack." I mumbled, barely able to get the words to come out right. "How many times have I told you to stop your obsession with my son? I will never accept you being in my council! A beta's wife? That's a status too high for a low life like you!" He spat out before pointing towards the door. "Out!" He shouted and I quickly bowed my head before I pulled up my long sleeping gown to rush out of the door. "Oh.. And Jack is not here. Don't let me hear that you were going around looking for my son!" He added and I quickly nodded my head before I made it out of the living room. Jack's dad never approved of me. He had very high standards for who his son should end up with. He was the reason Jack and I had still not gotten married. I headed back upstairs to my room and found my phone. A call would be better. I waited and waited as the line rang. He did not answer the first time, but the second time, I got lucky. "Hey babe!" I chirped, trying to contain my excitement. Hearing his voice and seeing him was always the highlight of my day. "What do you want?" He responded, sounding rushed. "Did I disturb you? Are you busy with work?" I quickly questioned and got a loud sigh in response. He must have been so tired from all the work he had to do, I couldn't wait to give him some relief tonight. "Just speak and keep it short, Paige!" He urged. "Well, I was wondering if you had already made any plans for us today. What time are we meeting up?" I asked, a smile wide on my face. "What's today? Why would I have anything planned? Just get to the point Paige, I'm about to get into a meeting!" I already felt so bad for keeping him on the phone. "It's my birthday, our anniversary together. Remember the agreement we had?" I reminded him, hoping to at least cheer him up. Jack always has such a short temper, but it was something that he developed after we grew apart in high school. I knew him like nobody else, and I knew he never meant to snap at anyone whenever he did. "I will make it up to you when I knock off tonight. Gotta go." He hung up fast. I spent the entire afternoon waiting for him, not eating a single thing, not doing anything at all. When the clock struck 8pm, I couldn't contain myself anymore. I should meet him halfway, I thought to myself. I quickly checked his location on my phone, something I tried not to do too many times. He had no idea that I could see his location on my phone and the intention was never to stalk him. Tonight had to be an exception, especially seeing as I had a really good feeling about our anniversary night as soon as I realised where he was. "The Elysee Hotel." I squealed after reading it out loud. That was where we discovered our mate bond and had our first kiss. He was planning a surprise for me! I quickly changed into the dress I had already reserved for tonight. A long red, sequin dress that I could not wait to have off my body! I took my car without telling anyone, it's not like anyone would notice that I am gone anyway. I got to the hotel in no time, going last reception and straight into the elevator. If he was here, he had to be on the top floor. That was a private floor reserved for him and our Alpha in training, Kane. I checked his location again to ensure he was still here, smiling as soon as I got the confirmation. "That's weird!" I thought to myself when I read that his location had not changed in eight hours. I brushed it off as a glitch and finally got to the top floor. My legs were shaking with every step I took.. I was going to lose my virginity tonight. I had been dreaming about the day that Jack would make love to me and even begged him for it last year on our anniversary. He was very set on waiting till today though. As frustrating as it had been, it felt so worth the wait now that I was here and it was about to happen. I had everything ready. I had showered like I hadn't washed my body in a whole decade, waxed every hair off my body and even tried new perfume and wore lingerie inside my dress. My insides were tingling at the thought of having his hands on me. I made it to his door and scanned the key card before walking into his suite. I held on tight to the bouquet of red roses that was in my hand and walked on the tips of my toes towards the bedroom. I had only ever been in his suite once when he sent me to fetch some documents he had left behind, but that was it. It was the perfect place for us to have our first time together. Or so I thought, until I made it to the bedroom door and immediately heard moans. Loud moans from a woman. My heart stopped for a good second or two, or more as I halted my steps and listened carefully. "f**k Jack! You f**k me so good!" I heard the familiar voice again and took a deep breath before I pushed the door open. I could not see much, but it was clear to me that it was Jack's bare back on display.
