Chapter Forty Four
I waited, holding onto the phone close to my chest and hoping that eventually they would start talking. But somehow it seemed like they were still discussing something, probably with sign language because they were afraid I would hear it. Whatever it was, I had a feeling it had everything to do with all the plans that they had for tonight.
As much as it sounded like this could have possibly been fun, I already knew that I was not going to enjoy myself unless I sorted this out first.
