Chapter Thirty Seven
I was actually furious. This was Jack's doing, again! Even after everything he had done to me, he just couldn't let me be happy for once. Of course, I never expected him to ever be the one to make me happy, but I was naive enough to believe he would just stand on the side and watch as good things happen in my life.
Turns out I had underestimated him again. Silly me.
