Twenty Four
The journey back to the packhouse was actually very interesting, yet very calm, because we really did not have much to say or much to do. And most of the journey I was definitely tired and did sleep for most of the time. When he tapped my shoulder to tell me that we had arrived, I was definitely taken by surprise by the fact that I had actually managed to sleep so much.
And it was such peaceful sleep. It was very rare for me to actually get a good night's of rest because of all the nightmares that I tended to have. And I just wanted to enjoy it a little bit longer.
