The Warmth in Winter

Hiro POV Our airplane just landed here at NAIA Terminal 3, our class will start 1 week from now. I'm an exchange student here in the Philippines, I'm with my friends so I'm not afraid. "Do you think they will like us?" One of my friends said that it was obvious that they were nervous because it was their first time here in ph. I tapped his shoulder to give assurance that people will like us, "Of course! Don't be nervous, it's not good for your mental health!" I said with a big smile, because I know it will calm them down. He smiled back at me. That's why I just tapped his shoulders again. I'm not that good yet in Tagalog because I've only been here 3 times. We were about to leave the arrival area when I noticed the big board saying "Japan exchange student's butler is me." While it says 'oh yare yare' it looks like it was taken from the song hehe. I immediately went towards that person, "Kon'nichiwa, Hiro desu. Watashitachiha kōkan ryūgakusei desu!" I said, it was obvious that he was surprised because his mouth was a little open, cute hehe. "Ahh watashi can't speak nihongo..." He was embarrassed to say that's why I chuckled and brought my face closer to him, "I'm Hiro, and we are exchange students from Japan ^___^v" I said which seemed to surprise him, he looks adorable!!! I wanna keep him in my pocket!!! I looked at my roommates and said that he was the one with us going to the dorm as well as the tour with us. "We're going to the dorms inside the campus, but before that I just want to let you know that the males and females are separated based on the dorm." He says with a serious expression, we're walking outside the airport and he's guiding us while explaining things that we need to remember and keep in mind. So, there's a possibility that we're in the same dorm? That would be cool, I guess? I mean, what do I mean by cool?! This dumb person! "Hiro-san, mōichido daigaku no namae wa nanidesu ka?" When Kana, one of my companions, asks. He said that our butler was right next to him but he didn't ask him questions, but it's okay because my butler has a crush on me. "Wakarimasen, Kiite mimasu ^____^" I said while shrugging my shoulders, I can't keep using Japanese! I need to teach these leeches the Tagalog "Uhmm.. Excuse me? What's your name?" I even said to the cute little guy with us, let's go to the dot com first. I just learned that palusot dot com from my classmate who was a Pinay in America, hehe. He looked me directly in the eyes, I almost passed out but I can keep my cool, "I'm Johnson Carl Madrid, how about you?" He said he also offered his hand for shaking hands, I want a kiss, can he give that? I reached for his hands, and they were really soft!!! "Hirota Myoui is the name! Btw, what's the university name again?" I said, I can't stand his good looks! He's so handsome to the point of dying! He smiled broadly, "It's University of the Philippines in Diliman, I suggest you remove your jacket because it's currently summer here. It would make you feel exhausted later on." He said while helping my companions enter the van. As he suggested, we took off our jackets or long coats, because I could feel the heat immediately and it's not funny. The heat here and the heat in Japan is so different! "Hiro, you said you were an Athenian before?" Lori said, one of my companions. She's quite bold with her attitude and sometimes people don't like her because of her strong personality. I look at her from the rear mirror, I'm in the shotgun seat because they didn't want to stay awake the whole trip, "Yes, but I became an exchange student at our university, that's how!" I told her with a smile on my face. She nodded, then looked at Carl, "How about you?" She asks, I look at him not knowing that he is also looking at me. "Me? I'm just a Fine Arts student, I enjoy socializing so much that's why I choose fine arts!" He says while smiling ear to ear, I can feel the sincerity between his words. He really enjoys what he's doing. "You seem to enjoy those things..... I envy you." I said in a whispered voice, it's not that I don't enjoy what I'm doing, I just find it hard to keep up with what's happening around me. "Hito, how's your book?" Hermán says he's a Spanish exchange student. "My books are doing fine, Brother! Why don't y'all sleep? I guess we're still far from the university." I said and they agreed, I guess sleepyness will devour us sooner or later. I just looked outside the car while Carl was busy driving. I can drive you crazy too, Carl. I chuckled after that thought and ate me up, I didn't imagine I could be a cringe guy. Nothing can be heard inside the car but silence, I just look out the window and feel what I see. The warmth here is better compared to the warmth of Japan, I would love to stay because I think I finally saw the warmth of this cold weather. I have about a year to stay here, I need to get things done by the end of it. I hope things will be better once I get through this, I hope I still have these feelings ••••••••••• HELLO EVERYONEEEE!!!
