Chapter 9 Noticed

"Uhm Abby, do you have plans for tomorrow?" Tomorrow is Saturday. Our employees have two days off. Typically, Saturdays and Sundays are the days off. Overtime is feasible when necessary. I don't know why I even asked. I like her presence. She holds my hand figuratively and literally. I snap at times, but she still comes back to work. The woman just seemed unfazed.
We have gotten familiar with each other in the days that have gone by, and every day I learned to rein in my bad emotions. I don't wanna lose her. She's more than just my employee. She has become a friend.
I know she's looking up to me now from her laptop.
