The Only Ones for Me

They were running through the woods for their lives. As she looks behind her, she can see his evil eyes. Angelica woke with a jolt, she turned over to look at the alarm clock beside her bed. She groaned and rolled out of the bed. She hopped in the shower to rinse away the nightmare. As she got out and headed back into her room she heard her brothers downstairs arguing. Her first day at a new school. She looked around for some clean clothes. Angelica threw on a pair of ripped black jeans, a velvet red crop top and her black leather jacket. Standing at 5”5 she looked like a sweet innocent little girl, however sweet and innocent was the last thing she was at 16 she’d been through more than most children. But that was because she wasn’t like most children and neither were her brothers. She ran down the stairs to find that Cameron and Rolland were still arguing. Cameron had his back towards her, so she did the only logical thing, she hopped on his back giving him a heart attack and making him drop the package he was holding. “Damn, Angel.” Cameron yelled as Rolland laughed at him. When Rolland stopped laughing he looked at Angelica with utter disbelief. “So I guess that means you were serious about us going to this new school.” Rolland said. “When have you ever known her to not enroll us in school?” Cameron said, “ even though we won’t be here long.” He muttered the rest under his breath. “Y’all go get dressed and I’ll make some breakfast.” Angelica replied not even responding to what they said. “Okay boys let’s do this.” Angelica said as Rolland parked the jeep. They walked up to the front doors and went straight in like they owned the place. For 5 whole minutes, it seemed like maybe they could stay here. But as they were walking down the senior hall everyone had stopped to stare, and any hope of them staying went down the drain. Fuck, shifters, witches, and vampires. Angelica mind linked to her brothers. What are we gonna do now? Just pretend to be dumb humans? Well, technically we are already pretending to be humans. Came Rolland’s response to Cameron. They continued walking to their lockers until a short, slender she wolf stepped in their way, “Umm, hello who are you three?” The she wolf asked rudely. “I’m Angelica, and these are my brother Cameron and Rolland.” By the look on the girls face she didn’t believe Angelica, Angelica standing 5”5 with long curly brown hair, deep brown eyes and a tan complexion, Cameron standing 6 “5 with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes are light complexion, and Rolland standing 6”6 with black hair and dark brown eyes and a dark complexion, no one ever believed it. “Are you insulting me?” The girl asked “No, you asked who we are and my sister here answered.” Cameron replied. “Ya, if you guys are siblings then I’m the queen.” She said laughing, her friends started laughing too. All of them but him, he stood in the middle of the group. Standing at about 6”7 he was by far the tallest, he had black hair and these blue eyes that made Angelica hold her breath. “Hate to break it to you hun, but we are siblings. If it doesn’t bothers you so much how about you and your posse of minions leave us be.” Rolland responded. To someone who didn’t know him they would think he was making a statement, however to Angelica and Cameron they knew she had just been compelled. “Let’s go, guys, these losers aren’t worth our time.” the she wolf said as turned to walk away. As they walked away Angelica could feel his eyes on her. When they got to first period they headed for seats in the back. And sadly to Angelica’s surprise, there he was at the back by the window. The only three seats were right beside him. Angelica sat in the middle with each of the boys on either side of her. Angelica there’s an alpha in her. Cameron mind linked Hate to break it to you brother but it seems there isn’t just one alpha there quadruplets Rolland replied looking at his siblings and back to the door. Angelica followed his gaze to see three boys at the door staring right at her. The three boys walked to the back of the class and stood in front of Angelica’s desk. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Cameron tensing up, no one stepped to Angelica like that, especially not with her brothers right there. “Your in our spots” said one of the boys by the way he was standing he was the second oldest. He stood about 6”5 or 6”6 with black long hair and piercing blue eyes. “Yeah well I guess you're going to have to find new seats now.” Snapped Cameron, Angelica shot him a glare “What my brother is trying to say is it’s our first day and we don’t know anyone here, we’d feel a lot better if we were able to sit together even if it’s just for today.” Rolland replied politely. “To you always allow your “brother” to speak for you?” Asked another boy who Angelica thought to be the youngest. He looked younger and more innocent then his brothers. he was about 6”5 with dirty blond hair and the same blue eyes as his brothers. This being the second time today someone had thought that Angelica, Cameron and Rolland weren’t siblings and used a mocking tone, Angelica snapped. “If you wish to believe that me and my brothers are lying about being siblings than go for it,” looking at them one by one dead in the eyes “but do it elsewhere alright?” She formed it like a question but they turned around and walked away without another word. “Do you not know who me and my brothers are or do you simply not care?” He asked. Angelica looked over to the boy sitting by the window and replied, “I do not know who you all are and I do not care but what I do know is that I will not be talked down to.” She looked back to the front of the class. The teacher is about to walk into the classroom, when she gets in I’m asking to use the restroom Angelica mind-linked her brother don’t do anything dumb. When the teacher walked in, she did the attendance and Angelica asked to leave. She took a hall pass and headed to the bathroom, as she was walking she heard 4 sets of shoes approaching her. Did the boy sitting beside you leave Cameron? Yeah why? Cameron responded sounding concerned Are you in trouble? Rolland chimed in through the mind link No, I’m okay. I just thought I heard his voice and wanted to know if I was going crazy. Angelica cut of the mind link and blocked her brothers from her mind. As she was about to turn into the next hall she was grabbed and pushed into a supply closet. The door was closed and locked, and the light flickered on. Standing in front of her was the boy from class and his three brothers. “Can I help you?” Angelica asked coldly “Who are you?” Said the third oldest, like his youngest brother he had dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. “Who are you?” Angelica replied The boy from class sighed “I’m Seth, and these three are Caleb, Quinton and Reid. “And you are?” Asked Caleb “Angelica,” she replied not giving any more information, “I have to use the washroom now so if you’d excuse me” she pushed pass them heading to the washroom.
