"Aiden, what do you mean Ember is missing?" I grabbed his sleeves, a flood of worry rushing over me.
"Phillip said she was here earlier." I said a little too loudly.
"Come with me." Aiden said then walked out.
"Please excuse me for a moment Phillip." I said, quickly removing my apron and hurrying after Aiden.
He pulled me over to the side when I walked out, "I don't know, she told me last night to help her seek out a friend of mine for a job right here in the city. We went together and I promised to come pick her up when her interview was over. I got there right on time but she was nowhere to be found."
"Did you ask the people there? Someone must have seen her." I fretted, beginning to imagine countless scenarios.
