(Aria POV)
Adrian dropped me in front of Aunt Lucy’s house and, after a quick goodbye, left. He headed straight towards the forest because they had failed to put out the fire the night before.
“How are you feeling now?” I gave her a weak smile.
“I don’t know why, but I am not feeling well. It has nothing to do with Kathy’s poor traps, but something else was gnawing at me from inside,” I answered her when she handed me the glass of water.
“Have you heard about the forest fire?” She asked, and I nodded my head in yes.
“Yes! Dominic is trying to put out the fire from last night, but has failed. I don’t know what they will do to stop it.” I answered her, and her eyes widened in shock.
