(Aria POV)
I opened my eyes, and my head throbbed as if someone had hit my head with an iron rod.
“F*ck!” I cursed when I noticed Adrian and Dominic present on the side of the room on a single couch. Both of them drifted to sleep. I noticed the dark sky through the glass window, which means I woke up in the middle of the night. I checked the IV attached to the back of my hand.
“How are you feeling?” I heard Dominic’s worried tone when I was reaching for the glass of water. His voice startled me, and I spilled a few drops of water.
“Oh, I am sorry! I didn’t mean to startle you,” He quickly came towards me and helped me.
“It’s okay! I am feeling quite energetic,” I gave him a weak smile.
