Lord Of Valcrest

558 Words
Weeks passed in the Voss mansion, with Damien's training moving up to combat. His instructor was a man who, by appearance, looked to be in his early thirties and had pale blond hair and red eyes. But he was a pure-blooded vampire and also a distant relative of Mr. Ronald Voss. Right now, Damien was being taught the basics of how to fight and get a good fighting stance. The boy was a quick learner, which made Robert's work easy as he didn't have to repeat the steps over and over. Luke, who had been watching his master train, was speechless due to how amazing his master was. In his eyes, his master was the best, and he was going to become a god. Damien was Luke's idol and role model; his master did no wrong. "You're doing great, Damien. You've mastered the basic steps. I think we could move on to the next," Robert complimented the boy. "Thank you, Uncle Robert. Your training has been helpful," Damien responded. "Try to dodge me as fast as you can." The man didn't give him time to stall and started attacking Damien, not holding back, using the small stick he held to poke him at any openings he found. The training continued for another four hours before the man decided it was time to rest. Damien went to his room to freshen up and get a change of clothes. Going down, he met a man talking to his father as both men headed to the study to talk privately. The man was the Lord of Valecrest, which was the land after theirs, Belmont. A boy sat in the plush chair eating an apple. He was the lord's son, Valerius, and a pure-blooded vampire too. The boy had dark brown hair, and his left ear had a piercing with an earring. He was older than Damien by five years. Valerius sensed someone behind him and turned his upper body to find Damien staring at him. "Ah, Dami, my boy." His excited voice reverberated through the house. "Valerius." Damien bowed at the boy to show his respect for the lord's son. "Come and sit with me," Valerius invited Damien, and he obliged, walking towards the boy to sit next to him. "I didn't know you'd be visiting Belmont," Damien questioned. "Hmm, yes. My father had some business here and decided to visit as he had something important to discuss with your father. If I'm not wrong, the high council members plan to make your father the next Lord of Belmont. You know the previous lord was a dimwit and only wanted money." Vale shook his head. "This is why you never let the humans do anything important, especially when a person's life is involved," the boy said. "I heard he was helping the witches with supplies and resources to use against the vampires." "Me too. He only became the lord because of his great-grandfather. What a disgrace." Vale scoffed and continued eating his apple. "I heard Collins is having a party," Damien started. "Collins Moritz?" Vale raised his eyebrows at Damien. "I thought you hated that kid." "I did, I still do, but the last time he was here, he bullied my sister. And he needs to be punished." Damien grinned, his fangs visible. "Ohh." Vale chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mirth.
