Nowhere

"Bye mom, I'll see you after school!" Landon says as he waves bye to his mom and walks out the front door. Pulling out his phone he plugs in his headphones and pops them into his ears. After quickly putting on some music he looks around as he tries to enjoy his walk to school. It's his last day in his hometown and he's not looking forward to moving over the weekend. Being 17, he wants to complete his last year here at his home town, but his mom got a job offer that she "just couldn't refuse". Who cares about some old lady in the middle of nowhere anyway. He thinks to himself. "Landon!" He hears a voice call out to him as he approaches the school. He turns around and sees his best friend Parker walking up to him, "Hey dude." Landon says casually, Parker hands him a can of iced coffee. "Here." Landon smiles, "Thanks." Sipping the coffee he listens to Parker talk about the recent soccer game, even though sports aren't really his thing he still tries to pay his best attention. Suddenly they hear a voice call out from behind them. "Hey! Hey! Watch out!"
