Chapter 2

There was no other light inside the room except for the light that was coming from the lampshade on top of the bedside table. But despite the darkness, it couldn’t be denied that the woman in front of him had a slender figure.

He didn’t know but his eyes were fixed at her while she lay on the bed lazily. The woman’s eyes, which looked like they were sleepy, instantly grabbed his attention.

Bryan didn’t know why but there was a sudden rise in his body temperature.

But there were questions inside his head.

Who was that woman and what she was doing inside her room? How dare she come in there.

Bryan was just inside the washroom a few minutes ago. He just arrived in his room after he attended the family dinner with the Grey family. He really didn’t want to be there but he had no choice. He was destined to be engaged to the granddaughter of Edward Grey.

He was his grandfather’s best friend and with their status in life, he had no right to refuse. Even if it was his life, a decision had already been made by the head of the family. He didn’t want to create a war between him and his grandfather and most of all, if the wedding wouldn’t push through it would greatly affect the image of the two companies. He wouldn’t want to ruin the company and also the friendship of the two old men.

Though he hated it. He had a girlfriend and that was the only woman in his heart. He was not in favor at all with the idea even the first time that they told him about it but what else could he do?

Bryan’s heart tightened. He knew that the woman would be upset if she found out that instead of her, he was getting engaged with someone. It was something that he liked but it was his grandfather’s wish and the old man of the Grey family.

The bond of the two families were so strong for the past years and there was no way that he would cause chaos between the two families.

He tried to look at the woman who was on top of the bed that moment but he couldn’t see her face. Though he could say from where he was standing that she was such a beauty.

He walked towards the bed and then he lifted the woman’s chin so he could get a better look.

As soon as he touched her, the woman suddenly jumped off and then threw her arms around his neck. He was a bit shocked but he couldn’t deny the sudden spark she felt as soon as their skin touched.

She was heavily panting as if she was chasing her breath.

His eyebrows knitted together because of her reaction. The woman was acting strange. What happened to her? Or was she just acting up so that he wouldn’t send her out of the room?

“P— please help me,” she whispered between her breaths. There was a mixture of anticipation and excitement in her face.

He couldn’t understand her but he knew that he wouldn’t be able to control himself. He was already at the tip of his patience since she was the first one who gave a motive.

The way that she clung on him made Bryan lose his temper. She was breathing heavily on his ears and that brought an electrifying sensation in his body.

He couldn’t hold it anymore.

Bryan grew up in a wealthy family and he had seen a lot of bad things, no, he should say that he had witnessed the darkest things to happen in front of his eyes.

The moment that he held her, he knew what happened to the young lady inside his arms. She was drugged. It was obvious with her actions. She was not with herself and it was not a big deal at all if he would take advantage of the woman.

He smiled like an evil. For sure, it was one of his naughty friends who sent the woman out to go into his room. It looked like they wanted to cheer him up after they learned about the plan of his family. They were all aware that he was totally against the idea of getting engaged to a strange woman but he couldn’t do anything. He wouldn’t want to marry a woman he didn’t love or he didn’t even know.

He wondered if the granddaughter of the Grey family felt the same way. Probably, he just needed to talk with the woman and he would be able to get out of the mess. That thought suddenly made him feel lighter.

A devious smile was formed in his life and he leaned towards the girl then gave him a torrid kiss without hesitation.

It tasted so good. Bryan didn’t imagine that woman would be able to give him that kind of pleasure by just simply touching her lips. It felt like there was a sudden surge of adrenaline that ran through her veins. Her presence was so powerful that he could already feel his manhood between his thighs.

He crossed the gap of their lips again and then his hands started to move. He slowly caressed the soft chest of the woman.

He closed his eyes. The woman’s scent was like a lily that just bloomed in the garden.

Alyssa Grey’s eyes were fluttered open. She was awakened by the vibration of her cellphone which was underneath her pillow.

She lazily picked up her phone and checked who was calling her. When she took it under the pillow, the vibration suddenly stopped. She was about to rub her eyes when she suddenly realized that the room was not her room and then she suddenly felt a weight on her back.

Something was wrong. Where was she? How did she end up there?

She also felt her whole body sore, especially her lower part. There was a pain between her thighs and she felt cold.

She didn’t have any clothes.

“Why am I naked?” She asked herself and then she looked at the other side of the bed.

Her eyes went round when she saw the man that was peacefully sleeping beside her.

Alyssa quickly covered her mouth as she tried to not scream because of shock.

What had she done? Has she gone wild?

She rubbed her temples as she tried to think of what happened to her yesterday.

She attended the burial of her boyfriend and then after that she quickly left the house of his in-laws with a heavy heart.

She was supposed to be home but unfortunately that didn’t happen.

She was on the main road and waiting for a taxi when suddenly, a van stopped in front of her. She was forced to get inside it. In short, she was abducted by the unknown men.

But she was not rich so she couldn’t help but think of what their purpose was for kidnapping her.

Then, she suddenly remembered the water that one of the men gave her. It looked like she was drugged, that's why she suddenly felt uncomfortable. The sudden heat that rushed inside her body was because of that.

Someone had drugged her and then she was r***d! But who did that?

She felt a bit low. No matter what happened now, there was no use of thinking. She couldn’t put back what was damaged. The only regret was that she was preserving her femininity to the person she loved but she just gave it away to comfort herself.

Alyssa heaved a sigh and then slowly went out of the bed. She tried her best not to make any noise so the man on top of the bed wouldn’t wake up. Her knees were still shaking. Her heart was hammering inside her chest.

She searched all her stuff that was scattered on the floor.

She quickly put on her clothes and then left the place but before doing that, she looked at the man again. He was handsome. He had an oval shaped face with thin lips and a pointed nose and those long eyelashes were just perfect.

Alyssa shook her head to stop herself from imagining things. She took her bag and then went out of the room like lightning.

As she walked out of the room, her mind was in total haste. There were a thousand unanswered questions. Who was the stranger on top of the bed whom she shared the night with?

She didn’t dare to look back afraid that the man might have awakened. Because of the things in her mind, Alyssa became oblivious of her surroundings and the only thing that she could hear was her footsteps as she walked down the hallway of the hotel.

As soon as she reached the exit door, she hailed a taxi in front of the hotel entrance. She told the driver her destination and then sat quietly inside the taxi.
