Prelude
Why should I bow to gods who can’t even tie their own shoes? They say that we’re too different from the real world, but we’re the ones who laid the stone for the world to begin. I’ve watched my brothers lead several rebellions, but they didn’t amount to anything. I couldn’t stand idly by anymore- the token Demon Princess. My people were dying, and I had to do something.
I met with the gods a few days ago, and their advice was not to be demons. Everything they do is to help their precious humans; they couldn’t care less about the Demons. The gods oversaw resource distribution. The gods got everything they wanted and needed, the humans were looked after and provided for, but the demons- they got the leftovers. Resources have been dwindling over the years, and this year it was to the point that my people were starving.
I’m left with no other choice- to lead the rebellion. The rebellion is about more than being able to walk the world that we built. It’s about equality and making sure that everyone has access to a livable situation. Throughout my life, I’ve been asked to sit on the sideline and watch and the Primordials killed my brothers. Watching them, I’ve learned a few things. The 5 Primordials follow the same pattern: 1 is human born, 1 comes from a traumatic birth, 1 is abused, 1 comes from a specific bloodline, and 1 is rejected by their mate.
My plan is sabotage- find them before they come into their power. The full moon after the Primordials come into their power is when the door between the realms opens. It's the one chance the demons have to break free from the poverty forced upon us by the gods. I, Lilith Damaris, will do whatever it takes to help my people. Even if it means a few of Selene's pets are murdered in the process.
