Chapter 35
Theodore felt vulnerable and too open to Sebastian as he told him about his son and his arranged engagement with Michelle. He let himself be exposed and his fear of getting a not so favorable reaction from his lover was brewing inside.
He's told that Finnegan was conceived over eleven years ago. He never knew until Finn's mother came back. Now he wants to bring his son to his home and take care of him.
Sebastian stayed quiet as Theodore told him everything, including his previous hesitation to tell him sooner about it because of fear of being misunderstood. The young man could feel his lover's dread through his shaky voice at one point and the unguarded look in his brown eyes.
"Teddy... Did you hesitate because you doubted me given our arrangement?"
