"Who.. Who could attack his Majesty, at Seaflame?" asked Dina, with tears brimming in her eyes.
"Kayas... His own brother, killed him. It was meant for Me and my Children. He tried to kill us, when I was vulnerable."
"Midas... He thrown himself infront of me, when his brother tried to stab me with his Black sword"
"No..no no. It can't be. The Black sword is dangerous and venomous for Dragon blood. Its used to protect the Kingdom from enemies. He tried to attack you and your children with that?! How could he do that? Why?"
"What of his Majesty's Dragon?"
"I don't know. I don't know why he attacked. I don't know about the Dragons. I don't know why I am alive, when Midas is gone..."
"Midas ordered me to runaway and save our children."
"Prime Minister knew. He sent me here. I think Kayas didn't know about it"
"My Father knew about this?!"
Sabrina nodded.
"He helped me escape. Few of Kayas's men followed us, seeing a woman running in the woods, but I left no clue"
They both cried for hours.
Early in the morning Sabrina felt the contractions getting strong . Dina was there with her the whole time. She ordered the maids to attend Sabrina. The maids were experienced ones.
After few hours of struggle, Sabrina gave birth to a beautiful girl child, the Princess of Sea flame Kingdom.
"My Lady, the baby is fine. Im afraid about the mother's condition."
Dina rushed to Sabrina's side hearing that. Sabrina was looking pale, her eyes were dull.
"Dina... my baby?"
"She is fine" Dina took Sabrina's hand in her rubbed them, her hands unusually cold.
"Kyrus?"
Dina order the maids to bring Kyrus, to the room.
"Dina... I know, I know I'm asking for a huge favour. Could you promise to protect my children from them?.."
Dina shooked her head, tears started falling from her eyes. She wiped her tears and regained her composure.
"Sabrina what are you talking about. You will be fine soon. We will raise your children here."
Sabrina smiled weakly at that.
"I know about my condition. I heard the maid too. My pregnancy was complicated one... Controlling the water source had me exhausted badly. I think I don't have much time, Dina. I could only trust you now.. Luckily both my children are safe.. If you promise to protect them, I can die in peacefully"
Dina couldn't say anything.
"Dina please" Sabrina cried.
"I promise, I will protect them and... and love them as my own" promised Dina.
Dina's husband entered the room with Kyrus. Sabrina wiped her tears seeing her son.
Kyrus came to Sabrina's side. Sabrina held his hands in hers and kissed them. She turned to her baby lying next to her, a single tear drop rolled down from her left eye. Her skin was turning pale every second, as if life was leaving her body slowly.
"Her Father wanted to name her MINA. He always wanted a girl child. He couldn't even get to meet his daughter"
She hugged Kyrus.
"Kyrus, when mother is not there, take care of your sister and be a good boy. Can you promise me? my little prince"
"Promise" Kyrus said with puffy eyes growing red.
"Im sorry I couldn't stay with you both. Always remember your Father loved you the most. I love you. Always.." She kissed her children.
"May ...May Holy Fire, Dragon Legends and Water God protect you...." she whispered and with that her eyes went emotionless.. life left her system.
The newborn started crying as if she knew her mother left the world. Dina took the baby in her arms and cried.
Dina's Husband who politely stood in the corner came to hug her.
"I promised Sabrina that, I will love them like my own and will always protect them" she said.
"We will" he said
