"Winning this war is my only motto. Its now are never. Are you with me girl" Mina asked her dragon. The shining blue creature let out a low growl, as if it was agreeing with her.
She looked at her handsome husband, staring at her. They have to win this. Its only fair, they win this and come back to lead happy life. Aaron gave her a curt nod. They were on the same page. Both of them wanted to win this for their family, for their future. She climbed her dragon in silence.
"Go" was her command. She don't need to ask twice. In no time they were flying high. Mina was looking at their castle, until it became a small dot under her sight.
She was terrified to the ends, but she has to put up a brave front, like she has been doing for past few years.
Silent tears brimming her eyes. She was tired and angry. She blinked her eyes to fight it. She knew her husband was following her like a shadow and he would not mind her letting it all out. But no, she refused to cry. But she wanted to convert her anger into an energy that will motivate to keep fighting.
She was no damsel, but a Dragon Princess who was ready to fight any battle that life will throw her way.
