Chapter Two Ending

“What about, we skip a class and we go to the shop. I will buy you a dress.” Logan said.

“No. I have money. I just don’t have a clue what to wear.” Bella said.

“Then I will go with you, and help you pick.” Logan said.

Bella thought it over then nodded.

“We can go now, I can call my dad and make sure what type of dress you need.” Logan said.

“I will meet you at the lockers. I had to get some more books from here, let me take them to the lockers.” Bella said.

Logan nodded and called his dad as Bella locked the library doors and walked to the lockers.

Logan dawdled slowly.

“What’s up Logan?” Matt asked.

“What type of dress does Bella need tonight for dinner? I was just talking to her and she said she wants to go but she won’t wear her casual clothes. So, Bella wants to know what type of dress she needs. I offered to pay, she said she has her own money. I still think she is BB, but anyway we are heading to the shop now so she can try some on before the end of the day. So tell me, what type does she need?” Logan asked nervously.

Matt laughed as he heard Logan nervously talking fast.

“How about we all wear suits and Milly wears a fancy dress so that Bella can get something fancy to wear in the future as well?” Matt asked.

“Okay. Just, please don’t judge her hair. It’s black and blue.” Logan said.

“You even care what I think of her hair? Logan, you must really like her.” Matt said.

“I don’t. She’s just a friend.” Logan said.

“Does she have transport?” Matt asked.

“I will sort that out.” Logan said.

“Well, do it.” Matt said.

Logan hung up.

Logan walked to the lockers while Matt rang the school to explain Logan had an errand to run and then Matt rang the staff at home and explained that they needed to prepare a classy feast and that he was planning to invite six people over for dinner. Upon agreeing, the staff got the list for the menu and then went out. They saw Logan out with a young girl and they saw her in knee length jeans and a loose black top. They thought maybe she was lost and he was helping her. The black and blue hair, made one of them look at Bella with a disgusted look.

They stuck to their priorities instead of approaching but they spoke to the rest of the staff as soon as they were back.

Bella went to the bank first with her ID and went to her lock box. Logan waited outside, Bella grabbed enough money to buy a car from the used dealership, a motorbike for herself. And Bella had money for lunch and clothes. She didn’t buy the car and motorbike until she was away from Logan though. But Kieran texted her.

[Hey, you aren’t in class, is everything okay?] – Kieran.

[Yeah, Logan offered to take me to get an outfit to go to see you at dinner. He said your dad said it will be classy. You boys have to wear suits. I’m going to laugh at you both.] – Bella.

[I could have taken you, I didn’t know you didn’t have a dress.] – Kieran.

[It’s all good. I expressed it after he said that you meant it when you said I was invited. He is taking me from store to store until I feel pretty in a dress. He’s falling asleep while I try the dresses on. It’s pretty funny.] – Bella.

[Just be careful, he’s pretty heartless. Acts like he cares until he gets what he wants then leaves.] – Kieran.

[If you are that concerned, maybe you should have asked me where we were sooner? The lady just handed me a beautiful dress and if it looks good, I may be leaving soon.] – Bella.

[I’m slow, so sue me.] – Kieran.

Bella chuckled. She put the dress on then gasped.

It did look really beautiful. But what surprised her, was it actually went well with her hair as well. Bella decided to get that dress. It was a beautiful black dress with a blue along the bottom like a cloud, and along the top like it’s fading in. The top of the dress was a low cut, slightly revealing and tight but the rest was flowy and had layers. It fit her perfectly.

Bella almost cried wearing it. She took it off carefully. Bella bought some other dresses in case the situation occurred again so she didn’t miss out on school. She even got heels and boots.

Logan was lightly snoring as Bella gently shook him. Bella saw he looked like he was having a troubled sleep.

“Logan, wake up. It’s Bella.” Bella said repeatedly.

She kept gently shaking him. Logan moaned gently into a hum as he slightly turned his head.

“Bella, why are you in my room?” Logan asked.

Bella laughed softly.

“You’re still asleep. Wake up Logan. You fell asleep in the dress shop while I was trying on dresses.” Bella said.

Logan rubbed his eyes and looked around.

“Does this mean I don’t get to see it?” Logan asked.

Bella nodded with a smile.

“Wait until tonight now.” Bella said.

She wrapped her arm around him to pull him up. Logan shook his head and grabbed the bags to carry them to his car.

“Such a gentleman.” A lady behind the counter said.

Bella walked out slowly as she watched Logan put the bags in the back of his car.

“So, where is your place so we can take these home? Girls at school might try to steal them from you.” Logan said.

“I didn’t think about that. I guess you have to see where I live, if I am going to see where you live huh?” Bella asked.

Logan nodded.

“I’ll take you there. But no judgement please.” Bella said.

Logan nodded. He opened Bella’s door for her and closed it. Then walked to his side of the car.
