Chapter Two - They're Twins

The next day, Logan and Kieran were talking to the boys. Logan introduced them and they were discussing Bella. Kieran said he didn’t believe a girl called Logan an ‘asshole’.

Bella arrived at school and saw Logan with the guys and another guy. Vince pointed at Bella.

“There she is.” Vince said loudly.

Logan and Kieran looked behind them. Bella saw they looked the same. Logan and Kieran walked closer to Bella. She was at her locker and getting her history book.

“Are you okay? You had blood on you last night.” Logan said.

Bella ignored him. Kieran smiled.

“Anyway, I’m Kieran. I apologise for my brother. He can be an asshole. After we heard he was an asshole my father and little sister Milly wanted to invite you over to apologise officially. Logan is difficult. We can’t disclose it, but he is on meds.” Kieran lied.

Logan shot him a glance. Bella looked at him as well.

“Question for you, why are you both here?” Bella asked.

“As in, in the school or talking to you?” Kieran asked.

He smirked at Bella. A girl walked past and sighed. Bella rolled her eyes.

“Avoid me or both your reputations will get ruined. Furthermore, asshole. Stop trying to talk to me inside or outside the school. I want nothing to do with you. I have no need to talk to you. I don’t want you near me, I don’t need you near me. And I don’t want you to sit next to me in any classes. Shift with someone else or I will make you regret it. I don’t want a pompous di*khead next to me while I learn.” Bella said.

“I just go where I am told, deal with it. Anyway, my dad told me to bring Kieran to you. F*ck you, Bella. I was trying to be nice and care when I saw you were bleeding. I’ll just hope you get an infection and die a slow and painful death.” Logan said.

Logan pushed her hard against the locker then left. Kieran was about to say something but Bella covered his mouth.

“Don’t, I prefer to be bullied.” Bella said.

“Two questions. First is, why do you prefer it? And second is, why do you smell like cotton candy?” Kieran asked.

“It’s my perfume and my body wash. I like to smell sweet to hide the horrible smell of my wicked evil soul.” Bella said.

“I don’t think you are wicked. Besides, I have nothing but the purest intentions with you. Let me be your friend. I promise I will never try anything with you. Dad and Milly really want to invite you to dinner to apologise for the way Logan treated you.” Kieran said.

“Maybe another time. But how about only communicating through the phone? I can’t lower your reputation that way. You will lower your brothers if you stick around me for too long. I’m the nerd who knows too much.” Bella said.

“Good, I am barely getting C’s. Let’s tell everyone you are teaching me so we can hang out lots without their judgement.” Kieran said.

Logan watched with his friends.

“What is he doing?” Mitchell asked.

“I told my dad about her, he said she sounded like his friend’s daughter that went missing a long time ago. Keep it a secret. Kieran has to get close to gain her trust and get her to come over so my dad can bring his friend to meet her and see.” Logan lied.

“So, we can’t pick on him for being with her?” They asked.

“No. Dad’s friend is a multibillionaire. And he wants his daughter who went missing at the age of 5. She has a scar in a certain part but he won’t disclose where it’s located.” Logan lied again.

They watched as Kieran and Bella talked some more. Kieran showed his schedule. Her eyes opened wide.

“You have my schedule. We have every class.” Bella said.

Kieran laughed.

“Well, looks like we are going to be like magnets.” Kieran said.

“Do you even know where to go?” Bella asked.

Kieran laughed and shook his head.

“Follow me, you might get lost.” Bella said.

They started walking early. Kieran winked at Logan and stuck his tongue out at Logan before walking to the classroom.

“Where are you sitting?” Kieran asked.

“I sit in the back.” Bella said.

“Can I please sit with you?” Kieran asked.

Bella hesitated but nodded.

Kieran sat next to her. After a bit, Logan and his friends walked in. Logan saw Kieran smirking and he got jealous. The class filled in. They looked at Logan and his brown hair with blue eyes, then they looked at Kieran with his black hair and brown eyes. They were both tall and tan and built like a brick wall. A lot of muscles. But Kieran appeared to be sweeter and softer. Which is why Logan has the instant attitude personality. He was annoyed that everyone thought Kieran was innocent.

“We have another new student today.” Mr Klark said.

“We know. He’s a god.” Mary groaned.

The class stared at her while Kieran ignored it. He and Bella were busy texting each other with phones on silent. Logan noticed it and got jealous. Mitchell caught on, he smirked.

“Sir, the new kid is texting.” Mitchell said.

“Kieran, phone please.” Mr Klark said.

Bella looked at Mitchell.

“You’re just mad because he’s texting his d**k to your sister.” Bella said.

The class gasped. Even Kieran looked shocked.

“Bella, attitude. No more swearing, remember? You promised to cut back. It hasn’t even been 5 minutes and you already said d*ck.” Mr Klark said.

“But so did you, everyone says it. At least I didn’t call someone a swear word. It’s baby steps. We’re making progress.” Bella said.
