Chapter 24

Sophie POV 

We have spent the last 3 hours trying to get me to shift into my wolf again and nothing. 

"Right 1 last time tell me exactly what you did when it happened the first time" Jason says frustration evident in his tone. I understand his frustration for a werewolf the shift is natural. For me not so much. 

"Like I said, I was in the room thinking about wolves and how amazing they are and how exciting it must me to turn" I say through gritted teeth. It's only the millionth time I have repeated this. 

"Okay one last time clear your mind breath and think the same thoughts" he says trying to stay calm. I do as I'm told I close my eyes think the same thoughts. 

And 

NOTHING.

"I give up, I can't do it" I sigh. Sitting down in the grass. I close my eyes realising its not as easy as I thought it would be "I just want to be able to run with you. Train with you. I want to know what it's like to be a wolf so I can be the best Goddess to you all" I keep talking quietly I know Jason can hear every word. His eyes are fixed on me. " I want for us to be able to do wolf things together. Train together, fight together, I want to after a hard training session be able to walk up to you and run heads with you like all the mated members of your pack do. I want that not for me but for you. I've seen the way you look at them and I see the longing in your eyes to have that" I finally finish and let out another sigh. I don't move, I just stay sat there with my eyes closed. 

I here a small chuckle. "I can't believe you are laughing at me" I scold. Snapping my head up to look at him. 

"Im not laughing at you, but you seem to have found a way to shift again" I look down and see my huge white paws.  I jump up and start prancing and jumping around.  I must lo ridiculous. 

"I did it" I beam through my wolfs link. I guess I can talk to anyone i think. 

"You did it moon flower you did it" I can hear the pride in Jason's voice. " now change back" 

I remember back to what he said in the room and closed my eyes, soon I can feel the grass against my skin. I can't contain my excitement.  

"Its pretty cool that your clothes don't shred" Jason nods. I hadn't even thought about it. " At least now I don't have to worry about prying eyes seeing you without cloths on. What's under your clothing is for my eyes only" he says letting out a low growl. I give a little shudder at the sound. Damn I love it. 

"Right let's see if you can change back to wolf form. Last time I promise" he coos in my ear. I close my eyes and sure enough I did it. I stand up and turn to see my glorious mate but he's not there. I can still smell his scent and its close I turn around to she his magnificent wolf striding towards me with his cloths in his mouth. He close over and runs his had against mine and nuzzles into my neck. As I do the same to him. 

He turns and begins to run in the opposite direction to where we are. 

"Wait where are we going" I call through our link following him. 

He doesn't respond right away so I guess he is talking with someone else. So I ask him again. This time he calls through " just follow me and you will see". As I run i hadn't realised how fast we were going dodging trees and the feel of different things under my paw.

The wind flowing through my fur feels amazing the smells of the forest around us. My sciences are in overload it is the most amazing feeling. How anybody could hate werewolves and say anything negative about them is beyond me. I don't think I will ever be happier than I am right now running with my mate and being free.

 After running for quite some time Jason starts to slow down. "Shift back" I stop clear my head and do as he says. Once I open my eyes I see Jason walking from behind a tree in a crisp white shirt and a pair of black jeans. I had Sammy bring us fresh cloths you can change behind the tree. I nod and blush as I run over to the tree hung up os a simple white sun dress that just grazes my knee. As I walk back out from changing I cant help but blush. 

"You look incredible" Jason gushes, causing me to blush again. I don't think I will ever get used to his compliments. "You are adorable when you blush" he lets out a small chuckle and pushes a stray strand of hair behind my ear. He takes my hand and we walk a little further to a garden with a small stream running along it.
