Chapter 12

I turn over reaching to curl back into Jason but I can't feel him. I slowly open my eyes to his side of the bed empty. The sun sneaks into the room through a small gap in the curtains. Slowly sitting up i rub my eyes. As i look to the bedside table I see a note with my name on it. 

"Morning Moonflower, I hope you slept well. You looked so peaceful laying there I didn't want to disturb you. I have had to go deal with some urgent pack dealings. I have left my beta Samuel (who you already know) for you to train with. I shall see you as soon as I can. J x

P.s. i have put some training attire in the bathroom for you" I after reading the note I decide to shower and change into the clothes Jason has left for me. I take a look in the mirror and try to adjust the top as I feel a little exposed in what I can only describe as a sports bra and a pair of shorts. After wrestling with the top for a good 10 minutes I give in as I have decided that the top just won't move. I hunt for a jacket in Jason's closet to try cover a bit more of myself. I finally find one hung and pull it on pushing up the sleeves so they aren't too long. I walk down the stairs and find a very cheery looking Samuel waiting for me. 

"Finally decided to make an appearance then did you" he laughs " jacket looks a bit on the big side" 

"Jason and I aren't exactly the same size plus his idea of training attire doesn't match mine" 

"Phahaha that is hilarious. What would you usually wear for a training seasion?" 

"Yoga pants and a sports top, not shorts and a sports bra" i Cross my arms over my chest and pout. 

"It's not all that bad come on I'm under strict instructions to do training with you" he says with conviction in his voice. 

"Right you are lead the way" I say gesturing to the door. 

We take a short walk down to the pack training ground which is empty. I assume everyone must have finished their training by now. 

"So what sort of training am I doing with you?" Samuel asks

"Ow I was supposed to be doing a defence training session" he raises an eyebrow "Blame my grandparents they were adamant I learnt how to defend myself only problem they then found was I liked it" I been. 

" okay then…" samuel says just standing there 

Well what am I supposed to be defending myself from standing around board?" I ask and start to laugh. He throws me a set of rags to wrap my hands and with that he goes to grab my shoulder but I block him and land a punch. 

"Not bad, not bad" he says in amusement. 

He continues his attacks and I block most landing a few defensive moves and a couple of punches. I wince when I clock him on the side of his face. He shakes his jaw out and gives it a rub. 

"Fair play not a bad right hook on you. I will give you that" I know he is being nice not to injure me. I'm sure he knows what I'm thinking as he picks up the pce in the training and lands a few shots of his own. Nowhere near as powerful as he truly could. I am glad about that to be honest. He catches me off guard and pins me to the floor. As I look up a little winder to him pinning me to the ground, I think back to when I first laid eyes on him in the bar and the feelings I had but nothing, in this moment those feelings weren't there. 

"If you have finished fantasising about me do you yield?" 

"In your dreams" i get out of his grasp and flip us so i now have him pinned. By me saying I have him pinned I mean as best I can due to the size difference in us

"Samuel, you should never get cocky" I laugh. As I go to move so I can let him up I hear a growl from behind and find myself flying across the training ground and slamming into one of the platforms. I look up to see a female with long blond hair steaming towards me fists clenched she throws the first punch and i just manage to duck under it. 

" what so you think you are doing human" she snarls throwing another punch I'm not so lucky this time as she catches me right in the mouth and i feel my lip pop. Samuel is stood staring at he clearly mund linking her. But she doesnt seem to be listening he runs towards us and I land a kick to her abdomen putting space between the 2 of us. 

"What is your problem" i ask

"Humans don't belong here and trying to f**k one of our most eligible pack members isn't going to happen" with that I birst out laughing and can't help myself. I see rage fill her eyes and she starts to attack. I hold up well against her. No way was I going to let her win this, she continues to aim for my face and I aim everywhere but as she had them exposed. I can feel around my eye starting to swell and I know I have to  slow her down so slam my foot into the side of her knee and I hear something go as she screams with pain. Samuel is now stood between us and I hear a load growl. I don't know why but im not scared by it I look to see Jason running to me and I do my best to smile. He scoops me up and turns to the whimpering female

"i will deal with you later but you so much as look at my mate I will end you. Do you understand?" He has so much authority in his voice that I feel aroused. He leans in and whispers " you smell divine but in your current state I don't feel it is right" I look perplexed by what he said and then it hits me I blush and curl into his chest.
