Blurb

Two true blood alphas, beasts of legend, feared and revered. Bound by fate, cursed by destiny.

Sorin Aldric is haunted by an unbearable emptiness, a primal ache for the one who was meant to complete him. His soul burns, restless, searching.

Selene Vale is a ghost of her former self, a rare white alpha burdened by wounds too deep to heal. The world sees her power, but no one sees her pain. She has long learned that love is nothing but a cruel illusion.

But when their paths collide, the earth trembles. The pull between them is undeniable, fierce, and all-consuming. A bond written in blood and sealed by forces beyond their control. Yet with fate’s gift comes a brutal cost.

Their love is a beacon in the dark, a light that draws enemies like moths to a flame. Shadows whisper their names, claws lurk beneath friendly smiles, and the weight of their pasts threatens to shatter them before they can truly belong to each other.

Together, they are unstoppable. Apart, they are doomed. But in a world where betrayal is inevitable and power is a double-edged sword, will they survive long enough to claim what is theirs? Or will destiny rip them apart before they can even begin?

Chapter 1
The mansion was silent, save for the erratic thud of a small heart pounding violently against the ribs of a twelve-year-old Alpha, Sorin Aldric. The weight of his instincts was pulling him from the edges of childhood into the brutal world of true-blood Alphas. Sorin's entire body was taut with rage and desperation. His usually playful and innocent nature had been overshadowed by a force far beyond his years. The moon, full and bright, hung low in the night sky, but it wasn't the moon who he was trying to hold, it wasn't the moon he was desiring, it wasn't the moon he was chasing. It was his mate. "Mate!! I NEED my mate!" Sorin screamed, thrashing wildly in the grasp of his father, Dorius Aldric , his sister Yoona, and his brother from another mother, Hope Solis. His small body fought with terrifying strength, his limbs pulling against the three Alpha wolves who struggled to hold him still. Sorin's eyes were wild, wide with something primal. A desperation that none of them could understand, but all of them could feel. His tiny chest heaved with panicked breaths, the air thick with the scent of sweat and grief. He hadn't eaten, hadn't slept properly in days. Nothing seemed to matter, except the painful, gut-wrenching sensation that surged from his very core. He was desperate. "She's in pain," Sorin choked out, his voice cracking, tears flowing freely down his cheeks. "She's hurting, Dad! I can feel it! Let me go, brother! I need to find her! I NEED TO FIND MY MATE!" The strength of a true-blood Alpha was supposed to come with time, with age, but not for Sorin. His power had surged far too early, and with it, the bond to his mate had formed. He didn't understand the concept of a mate. He didn't know what it meant to be bound to someone. All he knew was that the ache inside him was more excruciating than anything he had ever felt. It was as though someone had taken a blade and carved a deep wound into his soul. Yoona, the ever-serene and often grumpy Alpha, held Sorin's small, thrashing body with an iron grip, her normally cold eyes clouded with concern and worry for her little baby brother. "Sorin," Yoona's voice was softer now, strained. "You can't go like this. You're not ready to find your mate. You don't even know where they are." "I don't care!" Sorin shouted, his fists pounding against Yoona's chest, but the elder wolf didn't budge. "Please! Let me go!" "Son, listen to me." Dorius's voice was steady and full of authority, but there was a flicker of something deeper in his eyes—fear. Fear of what his son was becoming, fear of the uncontrollable strength he had already inherited. He crouched down, bringing himself to eye level with the frantic child. "You're not ready, baby. Your instincts are too raw right now. You can't just go charging out there. It's dangerous for you and for your mate. You need to understand..." But Sorin didn't hear him. He couldn't. The agony in his chest was too much. It was like his soul was being stretched, pulled to the other side of the world, to a place he couldn't reach. His body was shaking violently as he screamed again, the bond pulling at him like an invisible rope, tugging him toward the source of the pain. His voice cracked with desperation, his eyes now wide, the usually playful spark in them replaced by a terrifyingly deep longing. "She needs me, Daddy! I need her! She's alone… She's hurting!" Sorin didn't understand why this was happening? He didn’t understand what a mate was? What the bond meant? All he knew was that something was wrong, something was broken inside of him, and he couldn't fix it. His heart raced faster with each passing second, his chest tightening unbearably as the tears continued to fall. His emotions surged in ways he had never felt before. His wolf, dormant in the back of his mind, was awake, clawing at the cage, desperate to break free. "Sorin!" Dorius shouted, his voice trembling with both anger and fear. "Calm down! We can't let you go like this!" "Let me go! Please......" Sorin's voice was a guttural roar, and with a burst of strength, he shoved against Yoona and Hope, his small frame suddenly overpowering them for just a second. But it wasn't enough. Yoona tightened her grip, pulling him back into the hold. "You have to listen to us, Rin," Yoona said, voice dark with worry. "Your wolf's not ready. You're not ready. You can't just chase after something you don’t understand. You don't even know where she is! We can't just—" "I don't care!" Sorin interrupted, the frustration and panic evident in his voice. His body trembled violently, the weight of the desire to find his mate so overwhelming that it made his bones ache. His hands clenched into fists, his nails digging into his palms. "I feel her! I feel her in my chest, and it's too much! She's hurting! She's alone, and I can't do anything, and it's killing me!" Yoona's expression softened, and for a brief moment, Sorin saw the familiar elder sister that had always cared for him. But even in Yoona's gaze, there was something else. Something that scared Sorin. Yoona didn't know how to fix this, either. "Sorin..." Yoona said, his voice trembling, "You're not ready to meet her. You don't even know what the mate bond is. You need time. You need... control." "I don't care about time, sister!" Sorin screamed, his body writhing in Yoon’s grip. "I can't... She's out there somewhere, and I need her!" His voice broke, ragged with pain. "I need to be with her! Please! Don't make me wait!" Dorius's gaze flicked between Yoona and Hope, his own heart aching for his son, but the sense of duty he felt as an Alpha, as the father of an emerging Alpha, clouded his judgment. "Sorin... you have to calm down. This isn't the way. We'll help you. We’ll find a way to manage this, but not like this. You're too young." His voice was steady, but there was a tremor beneath the surface. The fear in his eyes was undeniable. "Dad!" Sorin sobbed, his voice small but desperate. "I can't fix it! I can't stop it. Please, just let me go! Please!" Yoona, at a loss for what to say next, pulled Sorin close, one hand gripping his shoulder while the other gently cupped the back of his neck, holding him still. "I know, Rin. I know. But you have to trust us. We can't let you run off like this. You're too young for this. You'll hurt yourself." But the words didn't reach Sorin. They never did when the bond called to him so fiercely. His vision blurred with tears, and his mind was spinning with agony, the desire to find his mate burning like an unquenchable flame. "Please," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I need her. Please... Let me go..." His voice trailed off into a sob. The tears continued to pour from his eyes as his body shook uncontrollably, but the pain didn't cease. It only grew stronger.
