Heliose

Heliose One   Unknown             I am not kind towards people; I am not willing to do anything for people’s greater good either. I only take pride in helping myself. I enjoy making others suffer. So why? Why do I suddenly feel as though someone else matters for a change accept for me? I am king and nothing nor anyone else should matter to me. This world is cruel. It treats us like pawns to a chess board... We all must be forced to move forward on the board and play our role, to move and to die for something higher than we don’t even know exists until we die. Even after death will we ever see what we believed in? I do not want to be a pawn...I don’t want to be a knight...nor do I want to be a priest. What I want is to become king and conquer all and have a queen at my side who will rule it with me. To have someone look down upon this cruel world with me and laugh at the innocent risking their lives for nothing, cursing the dirt after having an emotional breakdown, tearing the earth apart; tree by tree, limb from limb, killing others for sheer pleasure. It’s all too good to watch alone. I must have you at my side, and I will have you one way or another. Whether you must be forced or, come with my willingly. There is no one better suited for me but you my dear.             Heliose Base 10:00 AM             “What do you suggest we do then? We can’t have Rurah try to take us over again! Sylem is very dominate and ceases to give up easily unlike others,” Danny said angrily.  He was a boy with fair thin white hair but still had a very young appearance. His cheeks and chin were small and his nose had a feint triangle shape to it. His eyes sparkled blue like the light blue in the sea where you could see to the bottom plain white sand and turtles swimming about calmly. His smile had given reassurance. His voice gave off soft but his words were still recognizable. He wore a plain blue T-shirt and plain black pants. He was in sneakers that had Velcro instead of shoe laces. He was standing while he spoke. He had a worried look on his face. The Heliose members were just cleaning up after a recent attack from Clan Rurah. Everybody was on edge. It only seemed natural after someone got their base attacked by a clan. No one was at peace. They all wanted revenge. It was Danny who spoke first often during clan meetings in the base. His skin was the perfect white. Not too pale and not too dark. He was a seventeen year old boy who was given the name, “Prince of Heaven.”             They were sitting around a large table in the middle of the base. Sin at the head of the table. Her chin resting on her hand.  She had blond fair hair that rested shoulder length. Her left eye was red while her right eye was blue. She was giving off a look of pure boredom. Her entire face, lip, nose, ears, and chin were perfect in the cute. She wished she could be anywhere but here at this meeting for the moment. She wore a pure black cape with a hood. The hood had arm holes so that Sin could move her arms freely without having to pull the cape back over her arms instead the cape looked like a giant oversized sleeveless unzipped jacket. Under her jacked she wore a plain red dress that lay ankle length. She had a blue gem necklace hung around her neck that emitted power of some sort. She never seemed to want to take it off as if it meant something. She had red boots with laces going all up below her knee. She sat with her legs crisscrossed. Her skin was a fair white.  Sin was also seventeen. Her nickname that was given to her held a strong reputation no one dared to defy, “Queen of Hell.”             “So what then? Build up our military and wait for her clan to make a move and strike back to defend our clan!” Raven sneered. She looked like a little girl because in fact she was six years old. But nobody should be deceived by her small appearance. Raven was an evil scientist who enjoyed spending all her time in her lab coming up with new experiments and trying to clone her fellow members in case one of them had died. The closest she had ever gotten to a successful experiment was when she made a male duplicate of the leader of Heliose Sin. Raven only wore a black short sleeved plain dress with a silky laced ribbon along her waist. She wore black combat boots that covered half of her knees and covered the rest of her leg below the knee. Her boots held small fighting knives along their sides in cases that were easy to reach and pull out when she needed to fight. She had long gray flat hair that reached down toward her lower knees. Purple and blue highlights laced about her bangs on her face. Her skin was a pale white. Her eye color was a light purple that looked like a lovely darkness.             “We only fight to protect ourselves. We don’t fight just because we assume that someone is coming to take our land. It’s against the clan rules,” Sin yelled. Unable to keep her patience; she stood up, glaring at everybody with great disappointment and sighed deeply. With a wave of her hand, she opened a portal that swirled and glowed in a circle in awe and walked through it teleporting herself to her homeland, Hell. Where she disappeared; not looking back and leaving everyone to argue with each other.             “Enough of this children quarrel. Sin has made her decision and she is our leader we should respect her choices. She knows what’s best for us and the clan,” Zina said. Her ears back, her tail puffy, her eyes piercing gold, her teeth showing. Everyone was instantly silent. No one dared to speak, or they thought they would lose something important to them. Zina was a Werewolf and Dragon Hybrid. Her hair was braided down towards her waist. Her eyes shone a bright golden color, her hair, her ears, and her tail was a light brown. Her tail swished back and forth nervously when she was in danger however she could use her tail as a weapon as she mostly used her claws and teeth when they came to in battle. Her claws and teeth could retract when she was in a less harmful situation. Zina’s face had the combination of Sin and Danny’s, cute, elegant, and could easily fool anyone with her looks. Zina’s chest often got in the way. She wasn’t flat like Sin or Raven. She had an E cup. Which she hated allot. Zina wore a green plain T-shirt with a dark green skirt that had resembled a Japanese school girl. Which was what made men so mad for her.             The members had all silently released themselves and headed back to their rooms, waiting for Sin’s return.             Hell, 12:00 PM             “Those fools don’t even know or understand the meaning of defense. All they want, all they ever think about is getting an excuse to fight and kill innocent people. I have to take my job seriously. If I don’t; my father may just come back into having power in hell. I can’t have that happen. If he gets his hands on this place again it’s only a matter of time before he starts another war with everything and everyone,” Sin said, slouching on the couch in her room.             Her butler standing near the door slowly nodded and closed his eyes. Sin seemed to think he might have been tired then again; butlers of hell don’t get tired. They were mechanically made to not get tired, not over think or they may short circuit themselves, never get to lazy, and fulfill their master’s wishes. These butlers were produced by Raven. After Sin experimented on Raven, causing her failed clone to claim host to the girl, she gained vast knowledge. She was like her own supercomputer. Making herself a scientist devoted to her own needs.             “This is what I enjoy! If only you were here by my side to watch this tragedy with me!”             Opening her eyes, Sin looked around. She could have sworn she heard a voice. It sounded...wicked, with cruelty. Sin was cruel, she didn’t like being told no, and got angry very easily, but never did she like watch people getting tortured for no good reason. She slid back down on the couch and closed her eyes. Suddenly she felt a sharp shiver go through her body and she was in a strange dream?             “You are finally here!” a voice so soft came.             “Who are you? Where am I?” Sin cried out loud.             “You are in a fragment of my world. I can only reach you through your dreams for now when you sleep. I don’t think you need to be alarmed,” the voice sounded sweet, almost alluring.             Sin gasped, “Tell me why you have come after me and I may let you live!” she shouted after.             Laughter broke out, “You really think you can kill me in here? Not a chance sweetheart,” the voice echoed.             “What is your purpose foul beast!” she yelled.             “Foul beast? Why that’s just rude my dear,” the voice snarled, suddenly startling Sin a little.             “Then tell me why I am here!?” she demanded once more.             “I have made it to the top of the chess board. I have looked long and hard for my queen, and I have found her. How suited and sweet she is for me. Ripe for the taking,” the voice cried out in delight.             Sin took a step back; her body was shivering. This was the first time she ever felt fear. She felt her body shaking, sick, as if she was about to die again. The voice started to laugh.             “What’s wrong my dear? You look as sick as a rag doll,” the voice laughed.             “Who is your queen?” she asked, but she already knew the answer.             “Why do you ask such a ridiculous question darling? The second throne is all yours,” the voice sneered.             “Who are you?” she demanded. Never had she felt so much fear before; even if she was just dreaming this.             “Hm? Oh I never properly introduced myself have I?” the voice laughed.             “No, you haven’t. It would be nice to know who my kings name will be,” she lied.             “Ah? I see. Do you honestly want me that badly?” the voice asked.             “Not really,” she replied bitterly.             “You may say that now, but you will change your mind. You needn’t be a pawn any longer to that man who calls himself god!” the voice shouted with rage.             “That man you called a god is a woman...she is...my mother,” Sin hesitated.             “Oh, born from heaven and hell but still so dark and twisted light and good could never be held within you,” the voice almost seemed to make it look like the voice must have been smiling.             “Answer my question and tell me your name!” she demanded. She was getting angry.             “Soon my dear, soon,” the voice drifted off laughing.             “Hey!! Answer me!! Come back here!!” Sin yelled after the voice.             But no reply came. She stood for a moment dazed and unsure what to think of. When a voice drifted through her head and awakened her.             “My lady please wake up! My lady!” a voice came; awakening Sin from her slumber. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up to the person calling her name.             “Butler, what is it? I was in the middle of a nap,” she huffed.             “My apologies, but you seemed in pain and not yourself,” her butler said. He stood back; backing himself toward the door where he originally stood.             “It was a dream. That’s all it was, and all it’s ever going to be,” Sin breathed. She wondered to herself if it was really a man in her dreams. If so, what did he want with her? Was it true he needed her as a queen? There were so many questions she wanted to ask that person. He called himself king, so she knew he was a guy. She hoped he would appear again so she could ask him questions; then again she didn’t want him to show up either. She didn’t want him to take her anywhere. She didn’t want to be his queen. She was the queen of Hell she didn’t need to be the queen of anything else.             “What do I have to do on my list today?” she asked her butler.             “There seems to be a riot that needs to be taken care of my lady,” her butler answered.             “A riot? Where?” Sin asked, bored again.             “The town of Verlorenen Seelen,” her butler answered. “The town of Lost Souls?” she squinted, “Of course they would riot; their town was just destroyed by the rebels. It only seems natural,” she stood up and grabbed her black robe and walked out the door while putting her black hood up and grabbing her scythe in the hallway.  Somewhere were the lands or planets doing touch…? “She still holds so much mystery. I want to learn everything about her.” “Sir, are you sure you want this one? She doesn’t look obedient.” “Don’t be so such a detester, of course she will become obedient over time. Maybe not now but, later she will be. Once she realizes her role she will have to listen only to me,” he smirked. A man was sitting at his table, a servant close by to him. They were watching what seemed to be a floating screen. On the other side of the screen was Sin. They were watching her, or at least the master was. “I am sorry to doubt you sir,” the servant said, bowing. “I’ve watched her for so long, even I watched her grow up when I was doing the same. Lovers must watch each other carefully; to prevent each other from getting stolen by another,” said the man. He never let his gaze fall off of Sin. He seemed rather indulged by her. The servant only nodded and bowed. “Are you jealous I chose her over you?” he only glanced at the servant once with a slim grim on his face and turned his eyes back towards Sin. The servant took a step back, tears clung to her eyes, “No sir,” she answered. “I made you to only obey my commands. I did not install you with feelings to feel for anyone or anything, even yourself,” he said. “It must be a malfunction with my hardware sir,” she said, black tears stung her face. “Your oil is leaking from your eyes. Go clean yourself up!” he demanded. He seemed angry now, but kept his gaze on Sin. “Yes sir!” she rushed out of the room. “Rushing to help stop the little villagers from rioting? That isn’t a job for a queen,” he sneered, “Alice!” he called. A small girl with white long hair, pink eyes, and a small winter coat with white fluff on the top of her neck, and bottom of the coat with poofs walked out of the shadows, she seemed rather sweet and innocent, her voice was obedient, her eyes told so, “Yes sir?” she answered. She stood still, and looked like a doll. “My queen is tasking herself with such an unpleasant job for a queen. I want you to take out the problem so she needn’t dirty her hands by those pests,” he said in a low growl. “As you wish sir,” she bowed. Black wings spread from the back of her body, she waved her hand and opened up a portal and flew through it, obeying obediently. “Do not worry yourself my queen. You will no longer need to dirty your hands with such things,” he smirked.   Verlorenen Seelen Town (Lost Souls) 2:00 PM   “I can see the fire, but I do not see any villagers anywhere! Butler are you sure this is where the riot is?” Sin was talking into a small ear bud attached to her ear. “I am sure my lady. This is where the disturbance was that I picked up,” her butler answered. “Well there’s no villagers’ here rioting. No villagers here at all in fact,” she said, “Butler double check for me while I investigate,” she asked running towards the village. “Of course my lady, searching database now,” her butler answered. “It’s so deserted. I wonder what happened here,” she said, going through the town, looking at each place carefully but could find no presence of life. Not even a small animal. There was a ring in her ear, “Yes butler, what did you find?” she asked. “All the villagers up and disappeared as soon as you arrived. All sources of their life energy disappeared within a second,” he answered. “What? Butler how is that even possible?” she demanded. Her voice a little uneasy and upset. “That my lady is beyond my programming and my understanding. If I attempted to over think it I will short circuit,” her butler answered. “It was a good idea for Raven to install you with a life source saver for yourself, so you won't crash and quit on me,” she laughed.             “I am sorry my lady, I was not manufactured with emotions. I cannot find that funny,” her butler said, with clearly no emotion in his voice.             Sin sighed, “She could have at least installed you to be a bit happier.”             “I am very sorry my lady. Would you like me to give her a call and ask her to install that item in me that you want?” he asked her.             “No, that’s alright. I’m sure she has better things to do,” Sin giggled.             “Watch out my lady. Someone is close by you!” her butler warned her.             “Who, and where!?” Sin asked, looking around, turning from side to side fast, and bringing her scythe to her hands to guard herself in case of an attack.             “Data unknown, position unknown. I can only sense a presence of someone with you. I can’t find anything else. No information about this life form exists,” her butler answered. He seemed uneasy. How could he find nothing about this life form? He was supposed to know everyone and everything. He was programmed to function so.             “How is this even possible?” Sin demanded.             “That is yet again beyond my programming. Someone must have made them as Raven had made me,” her butler answered.             “As Raven has made me? You don’t mean? That thing was created by a person do you?” she asked. Sin stood back glaring at every place there was.             “Exactly what I mean. That life source was created differently, to be a personal soldier for someone’s own good. Not devoted to everyone’s usage but their master’s own,” her butler simplified.             “That thing? How rude! Even after my master sent me all the way here to help you with these cockroaches,” a child’s voice came unannounced.             “Who are you, and who is your master!?” Sin demanded.             “I am Alice, and master would be angry if I told you about him. Too ungrateful to be master’s queen. Why he is so in love with you? It is beyond my programming to understand. If master would allow; Alice would have killed you already, but Alice was given strict orders not to kill you,” the voice said rather sickened.             “What have you done with the villagers!?” Sin demanded, she was getting angry.             “My lady should I…” her butler’s voice was cut off. The ear bud in her ear broke into pieces.             “Alice was given orders to take out the problems. Alice only followed orders,” the voice said, “There. Now your butler can’t hear us,” the voice added with a snicker. The voice sounded like a little girl.             “Where are the villagers Alice!?” Sin yelled. Her face flushed a rosy red.             It got quiet...then out of the trees on a thick branch a small girl stood up. She was dressed in white. Her clothes, her hair, her shoes, everything she wore were white; accept her eyes that were pink. “You do not give Alice orders you pest,” the small girl glared down at Sin. Instantly paralyzing Sin on the ground, she was unable to move.             “I killed the villagers. What my master says he gets. We were made to only follow his orders. I see nothing special about you. He loves you so much he made Sister Lucy cry. We aren’t supposed to have feelings, but she secretly developed human emotions without him knowing. Want to know why? He thinks of us as nothing but tools. He thinks the same about you,” the girl sneered, and sprouted wings behind her back, “Do not disobey my master, or I will kill you,” was the last thing the girl said before she flew off; leaving Sin paralyzed and frightened.             “Killed the villagers over a simple riot, because you were given orders to? What she said made no sense, but what I know for certain is that she is that man's servant. The man that called himself king,” Sin whispered. Paralysis left Sin’s body as soon as the girl flew off allowing Sin to move freely again.             Sin decided it was about time to go back to her clan, but first report back to her butler, so he knew she was alright. She threw a crystal on the ground and a summoning circle appeared. A bird with fire wings came through the circle. The bird screeched, and Sin jumped onto its back. The bird’s wings expanded and took flight into the air where it flew to Sin’s castle. With someone watching her close behind.
