Hell

Hell 7:00 PM             Sin was in her studies; her butler was close by helping her when she needed it. She was too distracted about Alice to do anything else. She had papers scattered all over the room, the books on their shelves were splattered all over the floor, all opened to pages she didn’t seem to need, maps opened, lay everywhere on the tables and desk, the clock was ticking silently, the room was a mess, her hair was a mess, she looked like she hadn’t brushed her hair in days, though in reality it was only a small few hours since she got home. One minute she thought she was on the verge of figuring everything out, the next the truth hit her, and she got angry and threw things across the room, sometimes aiming to hit her butler, who dodged and caught the items easily, placing them back where they belonged.             “This is ridiculous!! How is this even possible,” she screamed. Sin was upset and angry. Redness burned her cheeks a fleshy red.             “Do not over stress yourself my lady. No one can figure this out in one day. I can’t find anything about this child in my database, and I was made to be the smartest mechanical person to be existing. You should rest for now. It is not healthy,” Butler said to her.             She only sank back in her desk chair and nodded. Exhaustion hit her like a slap on the face, circles tortured her eyes for sleep, her body trembled for rest, her breathing seemed ragged and slow, and she was over worked. Her butler went over to her and picked her up in his arms, she jolted at first. He sensed jealous eyes on him. As if those eyes pierced his soul and attempted to stab him in the heart. He carried Sin to her bedroom, and laid her on her bed, gently tucking her in. He sensed her fall asleep in his arms as soon as he picked her up. He blew out the candles that illuminated Sin’s room into complete darkness, then he closed the door behind him; allowing the sleeping Sin to not be disturbed. He liked the fact that she was light weight. He could move her around easily. He headed down the hallway to the room that Sin was just in making a mess of. Since he was her butler, he needed to do his job and clean up after her. He stacked the papers neatly on her desk, and put the books closed and back on the bookshelf where they originally lay, still and dusty, or used to be. He folded the maps back up into their original form and placed them in the drawer where they were before. He dusted a bit here and there, cleaned the window, threw out the things Sin threw and broke out of rage and sheer frustration. He cleaned the room spotless until he was satisfied. As soon as Sin got home he saw her go straight into her studies, she took all the books off of her bookshelf, opened them, and skimmed through the pages. Shaking her head unsatisfied and throwing them on the floor while reaching for the next book. She grabbed maps out of her desk drawer, opening them to see if she could find a logic place where Alice might of came from, though she knew it was a hopeless task to accomplish, she looked into it anyway. She tried summons to grab information out of reliable demons, or souls she had collected and banished to hell. None successful. They all told her the same thing, “We have never heard of someone like that.” She even tried to search on his database for clues, but yet again got nowhere. She was tempted to call Raven to help find information, but assumed she must have her own problems to deal with as well, and quickly gave up on the idea. She threw vases, cups, plates, books, paper, maps, even chairs at every corner of the room, even throwing it at her butler when she had a meltdown, because she couldn’t get anywhere. After her butler had told her to take a rest she sank back in her desk chair and quickly fell asleep. He could sense all the exhaustion and tiredness on her. He had no feelings, he couldn’t feel, but he could sense all the pain coming out of her weak muscles and bones, crying to be released from all the agony and work they were put through. Her eyes swollen from lack of rest; were clung to by the dry heaps of tears that stuck to her lashes. Her hair was a mess, she kept scratching through her hair so much trying to figure things out she ended up pulling her hair out. A wreck she became, he was glad to get her off the topic, even if it was for the night. If butler could have gotten tired; he probably would have fallen over by now and fainted. He couldn’t feel tired; he couldn’t feel exhaustion, nothing. Not even an emotion could hit his face. He ever wondered if Sin seemed disappointed with him. Then it hit him. Those same eyes as before piercing through his soul stared at him once again in that room. He turned around to see if he could find a vague presence of anything, but he could get nothing. Only finding himself in the room. “Maybe, I am malfunctioning,” he told himself, and rested at that. He left the room to find more things that needed cleaning. Sin awoke in her room the next morning. She sat up dazed. She didn’t really know what was going on at the moment, but stretched her arms up and moaned lightly from the cracks and pops of her bones being stretched. “Butler?” she called out. She slowly rubbed open her eyes. Her room was a little dirty; she wondered if butler would clean it for her later. As her butler walked in with some clothes for her to get changed she said something else to him, “I think I know who Alice belongs to butler,” she said. Butler turned to face her after setting her clothes on the bathroom sink and starting the tub water, “You do my lady?” he asked. “I think she belongs to that man I saw in my dream. I think she’s his servant,” Sin claimed. “A dream you had? Was this last night my lady?” Butler asked. Sin shook her head, “No it was yesterday when I came home abruptly from the Heliose meeting when I took a nap, a man’s voice came into my dream,” Sin confessed. “A man calling you in your dream? Perhaps you were just dreaming my lady?” Butler asked. “I don’t think I was,” Sin said confidently. Butler turned the water off and gestured to Sin she needed a bath, because of the mess she made of herself yesterday when she came home from the village. Sin only nodded, and undressed herself, and sank herself in the bathtub; where she let the warm water welcome her. Sin usually liked to think when she took baths; she was alone, it was a good opportunity to think for a while. “If that man created Alice, does that mean he has created others as well?” she wondered. “Why did he send Alice to kill those villages, and how did he know I was about to deal with them? Was he watching me from some place close by?” she thought to herself. Not soon after a knock came on the door. It was her butler. “Yes? What is it?” Sin asked out loud. “My lady, it is time to take care of your daily duties. Your subjects are here with their requests,” Butler answered. “Tis a shame, but if I didn’t allow the people to speak their minds to me they would have rebelled against me and booted me out of my castle, taking it over,” she sighed. “My lady?” Butler called out. “Just a moment butler, I am getting dressed. Let them know I will be out shortly to hear what they must complain,” Sin hollered. “As you wish my lady,” Butler said. Sin could hear the faint steps of her butler, as he turned around and walked out of her room down the hallway. Sin unplugged the drain from her bath and let the water swirl gently with little violence down the drain; where the water disappeared from sight. The exaggerated sound of air being sucked down with the water was all that was left. Sin quickly got dressed. Black was her favorite color, butler knew that about her. A long, black, silky dress, with ribbons last gently around the bottom half of the dress lay waiting for her company. She put on her underwear and stockings, slipped the dress on, and put the medium heel shoes on her feet. Walking out of the room, you could hear the click, click of her shoes as she walked. Down the hall, everything was lightened by candle light. Sin thought of this to be beautiful, where others would have feared it as a haunted house. Paintings of people she never knew clung to the dusk walls. Dead flowers on each of the tables in their own separate vases. The walls were a deep red color, which would remind someone of a dark blood color, the floor was like a checkerboard, black, and white tiles everywhere. She could hear faint shouts of “Where is the queen?” and, “I must speak with her at once,” butler as calm and coolly collected as he was responded, “She will be here in just a moment. She has awoken a bit late is all,” Sin walked towards the end of the hall, her feet click clacking still against the tiles. She swung her arms out and pushed the doors outward, where she was met on the other side with angry faces. “Calm yourself. If you do not wish for your soul to turn to dust; then be quiet and get in a line. I will not have such manners in my castle,” Sin yelled. Everybody instantly got very quiet, and then they lined up one by one. The first in line stepped forward. “What is your complaint?” Sin asked down to the man, she looked bored already. Her hand rested on her jaw, her elbow lay resting on the throne chair. “We have worked, and worked so long and have gained nothing from it. I demand we should get some sort of pay for all of this work you give us,” the man said, a little anger in his deep voice. “There are three problems I see with that already. First of all, you do not demand your queen. You may complain, but you can’t order me to do anything for anyone or anything, two, you were banished in hell, you need nothing to gain from work accept to pay for your sins in which you have done wrongly in your living life, and three, I didn’t hear you say “your highness,” Sin glared angrily at the man. The man took a gulp, and quickly stepped back. “Butler,” Sin whispered. “Yes my lady?” Butler answered. “Turn this man’s soul into dust,” she yelled, and pointed at the man. “Please, no your highness. I didn’t mean it that way,” the man yelped. “You once fleeting living things still even try to flee long after death. Amusing aren’t we? You have insulted me Drew, and for that you must pay the price. If I didn’t set an example of my power on you everyone would rebel against me,” Sin sneered. Butler grabbed the man who tried to run towards the door, with a wave of his hand the man disappeared and a glowing orb shone brightly, and then it shattered. A million pieces sparkled in the air, turned grey and then, disappeared. “My lady, it is done,” Butler confirmed. “Alright who's next?” Sin glared down at her subjects. A small child’s laughter broke out in the crowd. “You, in the red, who are you?” Sin asked, pissed. “My name is Frain, you highness,” the girl bowed and giggled. “Why do you laugh?” Sin glared down. “I admit this was getting boring, but seeing your butler’s power for the first time ever in front of my eyes granted me excitement. Would you mind giving him to me?” the girl giggled. “Absolutely not,” Sin frowned. “Oh, I have a message for you...from my king,” sneered the girl. Sin’s eyes widened. “Who would you pick? Him, and save everything and all the worlds, or your clan Heliose, which is doomed to fall at any moment? Choose wisely,” the girl snickered and skipped off. “She made no sense,” Sin said with a puzzled look. “Ah, my lady, if I may say,” Butler said, back in his place standing beside Sin who sat on the throne. “What is it butler?” Sin asked, suddenly looking up. “That girl Frain, she’s in my database,” Butler said. “Who is she?” Sin asked. “She was a human girl. She was redeemed lost by her parents several years ago. They sent out search parties for her, they looked everywhere they could think of, and couldn’t find her. The police claimed her body to have been lost. She was redeemed to have been kidnapped walking home from school. I could sense her. She is no longer human. She was experimented on. She has gained horrible abilities from a horrible person. The maker is still unknown. But, I could sense a faint smell of blood on her,” Butler answered. “Blood?” Sin looked stunned. Nobody could bleed in hell. Everyone was a soul surrounded by a shadow called a phantom to protect their soul. “Yes, she must have been sent to kill recently,” Butler closed his eyes. “Could it have been?” Sin said out loud without thinking. “The person who made Alice and sent her to one of your villages? Unlikely. Alice was also experimented on,” Butler answered. “No, that wasn’t who I was talking about,” Sin shook her head. “I’m sorry my lady,” Butler bowed to her. “How old was the child when police told her to have been lost?” Sin said, biting the tip of her finger. “Nine years old,” Butler answered. “Poor thing. I bet that man took her and made her into something he could use to get me,” Sin said. “I’m not sure I follow?” Butler asked questioningly. Suddenly Sin gasped and fell off her throne holding her head as she crashed on the ground. She could hear faint sounds of her butler calling her name. She seemed to disappear into another world.  Her body tingled. When she awoke she was on a soft bed that smelled like roses. The room was dark; a candle lit the corner of her room. The moon was huge, full from the looks of it. Drapes covered the window, pane glass decorated the window. Sin looked around eagerly. This wasn’t her room. Where was she? She called out to her butler, only to receive silence instead. Sin hugged her knees, she felt a sudden sickness lurch in the back of her throat, and soft tears trickled down her face. Where was she? Why was she here? How did she get here? A small tap came on the door, startling Sin, she lay quiet. With no weapon she couldn’t defend herself. Another knock came, then a voice, “I’m coming in Queen,” and a small, skinny, but rather beautiful woman in a maid outfit came in the room holding a tray. There looked like food on the tray. Sin’s stomach groaned in a tight pain, telling her how hungry she really was and had become. “I am sorry to come in so unexpectedly, I just thought you might have been hungry after all this time,” the maid said. “No, it’s okay. I was just a bit startled was all,” Sin said in a low voice. “You were out for about three days, the master was worried about you,” the maid smiled, handing Sin a bowl of soup.  “Master?” Sin asked, she was already eating the soup. Hunger would no longer allow her peace. “Whose master? Why he is the most wonderful man in the world, and he is your king,” the girl smiled. “What’s your name?” Sin asked. She knew where she was now, and she hated it. That man who had appeared in her dreams had taken her to his house. “My name is Lucy, but between you and me, you're actually dreaming. Master has set your dream up in his mansion is all,” the maid smiled. So she wasn’t actually there in the mansion, just dreaming of being in his house. Some relief rolled off of Sin’s shoulders. “Wait how could I be asleep for three days if I’m in a dream right now?” Sin demanded. “Because, you were sleeping in this dream for three days. In reality it’s only been a few hours. Time runs differently here,” the maid said. “Is this food real?” Sin asked looking down at her soup; she noticed it slowly disappeared from her hands. “Unfortunately no. You dreamed that out of your actual hunger,” the maid said. “Tell me, why am I in this dream again? He hasn’t talked to me yet. Is there a point in me being here?” Sin asked, glaring at the maid. “You met a child named Frain am I correct?” the maid asked. She was definitely mechanical, but showed emotions. “Yes, I did what of her?” Sin continued glaring. She sensed she was making the maid uncomfortable. “She didn’t give you the true message,” the maid breathed slightly. “Then what was the actual message?” Sin clenched her fists. “Your clan Heliose, and a Clan by the name of Rurah are headed in an all-out war, or will be in the future. Master will be testing you. Which side you will chose. If you chose the master, he won’t do an all-out slaughter on everyone and everything, but Heliose will meet its fate with Rurah, but if you chose Heliose, you may save Heliose but everyone else and everything else will meet its fate instead,” the maid breathed slightly. “Your master is making me choose?” Sin looked up, her eyes widened. “To save one you must discard the other,” the maid flinched. “Wait if I don’t choose him he will annihilate everything and everyone!!?” Sin looked stunned. “Yes,” the maid said. “He can’t make me do that!” Sin protested, “I don’t even know him!” “But, you will know him,” the maid said, her face was getting flushed. “Now, now Lucy, don’t upset our dear guest,” a voice came. Sin looked up; a tall slender woman with a ponytail in her hair was leaning in the doorway. She wore a white scientist coat, small oval glasses clung to her face, she looked skinny, she had a whip attached to a belt that wrapped around her right leg, her hair a brownish blonde, her eyes a crimson red, and she must have an H cup Sin thought. She looked like a woman in her twenties. Tall, skinny, good waist, beautiful, gorgeously hot, and a scientist. Sin felt herself flush in jealousy. “Hello Sin. I’m glad you could make it,” the woman said, she stopped leaning against the door and walked over to Sin, she bent down so she was staring directly at Sin. Sin looked at the woman, her eyes wide. She was a bit unsettled, “Do you need something?” she asked. “I need to tell you something,” the woman said. “Tell me what?” Sin asked. “Your purpose here,” the woman smiled. It seemed wicked, almost diabolical. Sin gulped, if she could take a step back she would. “Everyone has told you one thing or another, they're both right. It doesn’t make any sense does it? That’s because, there's different people saying things out of order. Now I want you to listen closely. Forget what everybody else said. I am the sole answer. My master has been watching you grow up since he was a child. He was and still is very interested in you. He lived as a slave for some time in his life to a king. He had no knowledge, wasn’t able to write, he wasn’t strong. Then one day after tending to the horses the master met someone, who yes was also a slave, but he was different. The man told him, “A day will come when the king’s rain ends and a new generation and era will begin,” master had looked at him with admiration. The man came to the stalls every day from that point on when master had his chores; teaching master how to read, write, learn science, gain knowledge, and create a plan to overthrow the king that had trapped them into enslavement and despair. They gathered all of the other slaves and trained them in combat for a battle that would change their fate. Master had grown into quite the looker. He grew muscles from his training not to mention a six pack,” the woman said. Sin flushed. “When the time was ready everyone who was willing to fight stood at the top of the hills before the king’s castle. An army was down there to meet them. Master threw the charge signal and down everyone went into combat. So many people lost their lives right away, but the slaves were powerful. At the last moment when the master had the king in his hand, sword pointed at the throat he heard a cry. The man who had taught him so many things was beheaded by the king’s right hand knight. Out of anger to see the man die master cut the kings throat and cut the head of the knight in a single strike. He picked up the crown and stood on the castles balcony, and held the crown high in front of everyone, his fellow slaves who were clapping and shouting for victory, and the town’s people. Some clapped, some screamed in horror. Master put on the crown and now lives as king. There was something the man said to master before he died. Do you know what that was?” the woman asked, smiling down at Sin. “No,” Sin replied. “Become king of this cruel world, and find a queen to rule alongside with you. Stop at nothing to get her,” the woman said cheerfully. Sin’s eyes widened. So this is why those mechanical girls did what they did. Alice to the village destroying the villagers, Frain; telling her a message from the master about choosing between her master or saving Heliose, Lucy; trying to talk to her about her master, and talking about what Frain said of Heliose and her master, though she made no sense. Now it made sense. This scientist woman with glasses, even though the backstory was incredibly lame Sin thought it made sense why their master was after her, “Then what did Frain and that maid mean about choosing him or choosing Heliose?” Sin gritted. “I have researched you and your clan well. I was asked by my master to research Helios who will be soon in an all-out war with a different clan Rurah. I know you quite well dear Sin. You are the leader of Heliose, and you take very high pride in it. You are also the queen of Hell. You think highly of your duties and love to go out and kill the ones that need to die on your little list of people who belong in Hell. Your favorite color is black, your butler was created by Raven Starshine; a girl you experimented on, your triplet siblings are Danny Hatori, the prince of Heaven, and Zina Hatori, the princess of planet Trudon. You don’t get along with your brother Danny, so Zina has to keep the two of you in line before you kill each other.  Rurah is the enemy of your clan, though it’s your older self who rules it. My master will destroy every world if you don’t become his queen. He has pitted you with two hard choices. Go with my master he won’t destroy every world in existence, but your clan will fall to Rurah. If you stay with Heliose my master will destroy everything and your clan Heliose. Choose wisely,” the woman snickered, lifting her face up and standing straight. She was really tall. Sin took a deep breath. She was stunned. Choose a man she has never met in her life before and save everything; leaving Heliose to be destroyed or taken over by Rurah, or stay with Heliose and let everything be destroyed including her own clan and Rurah, “What’s the point? Either way my clan will be destroyed,” Sin sighed. “Is that what you think now?” the woman snickered. Sin raised her head, but everyone and everything around her swarmed into a black hole and disappeared; leaving her gasping for breath as she bolted in a sitting position. She looked around. She was safe at her castle in her room. She was sitting on her bed, the curtains closed shut. Daytime was still singing its song of light; Sin sighed. All of this was going too fast for her mind to process. She knew she couldn’t let the world fall down to nothing; it would mean she needn’t exist anymore, but she couldn’t give up Heliose. Was there a way she could save both of them? She noticed she was in her pajamas, “Butler must have brought me here. I wonder what happened after I passed out,” Sin muttered. She scooted towards the end of the bed, and got to her feet. Quickly going through her closet for clothes to put on she picked up her Red shirt with a black upside down triangle on the top middle of her shirt, then her black shorts, with her red belt. She put on her black and red sleeves, her red high heel boots with black diamond shapes on the middle was the next to be suited on her body, quickly grabbing the scythe from its stand, and placing it on the holster on her back. She walked to her bedroom door and burst it open. She stomped down the hallway, leaving the heavy click clack of her boots slamming the floor, and burst through the main room. She walked over to a little door, carefully unlocking it with her gem necklace, and opened the door to a portal. She closed her eyes and stepped through it. She knew where she needed to go; she knew what she needed to do. She needed to get to Heliose, and fast!
