Harlow Sue's P.O.V (The day after the prologue ) 

"Dammit you slut! Just admit it I know you were with him!" 

"Maybe I was at lest he knows how to satisfy me unlike some people!"

"Oh I'm sorry I don't have a d**k! Because that seems to be the only think that will get you going!" 

Mom and dad's voices shook the whole house. I brought my knees up to my chest and rested my head on them trying to quite my heartbeat. 

"And if it is? What's wrong with that?"

"What's wrong with that? We had a deal you little fag! And you running with your little boyfriend in plain site of everyone we know was not apart of that!"

"You know what I'm not going to stand here and take this bullshit I'm out!"

"Oh whatever! Your kind is such a sissy it's actually funny!" 

There were loud footsteps then the sound of the front door closing. With so much force it shook my already fast beating heart. More footsteps rang out as the body came closer to my room. My mother busted threw the door with a face full of smudged make-up and messy hair. She walked over to me and sat opposite my shaking body. "Is dad coming back?" Her eyes shot to mine at the sound of my voice. "Oh honey of course he is coming back he has to." Despite her appearance my mothers voice was strong and sure of her answer. "Do you need a hug?" I whispered to her. She simply shook her head in response so I opened my arms and she rushed into them. "Promise me one thing baby." "Anything momma anything." She pulled away from the hug to look me in my eyes. "Promise me you won't be tricked by love baby, because love doesn't exist. It's just something created by weak women to give them something to hold on to. Promise me you won't ever be weak honey." I've never never heard my mother talk with so much distain in her voice before. It made me think if this is what the infamous love brought to the table I didn't want it to begin with. "I promise momma I promise" So with that I sealed my fate because to love was to deny myself the simplest of pleasure's like freedom.
