The moment Lucy sights Susan, she calls Bob's and asks Bob to look for somewhere to hide.
Susan after dropping from the cab starts walking straight to Lucy's house. However, before, she crosses the road, she paused right in the middle of the road. Vehicles that are plying the road had to stop for Susan to cross, nevertheless, she stands right in the middle of the road. All the cars passing in her direction had to start horning for her to move out of the road so they could pass, but she was still right there acting like someone who was looking for something. Some of the cars start manoeuvring in order not to hit her.
When Lucy realize what was happening, she call the attention of Bob by saying, "Something is wrong with Susan, I have to go help her right now because she is standing right in the middle of the road."
Lucy rushes to meet up with Susan, acting as a traffic warden, redirecting the moving vehicles. She was able to lay hold of Susan and drag her off the road.
After Lucy had dragged Susan off the road, she sat her down and realize Susan has become the shadow of herself, as it is evidence that she is traumatized and kind of having a crisis.
Lucy speaks to Susan, saying, "What is the problem with you, Susan?" and she replies, "I have been fooled by that beast called Bob. You won't believe, he has a family and was using me as his s*x toy. I am so hurt and I wish I can take my life for me not to ever set my eyes on Bob again."
"Hey, Susan, calm down, it is not the end of the road. Just calm down", said Lucy and Susan replies, saying, " I wish I can be able to calm down. However, I am so foolish. I would have listened to you when you were trying to caution me. Nevertheless, see where my desperation has landed me."
"It is ok, everything will be alright, just calm down", Lucy tries talking Susan to return to her right state of mind. As she holds her hand and they walk straight to her house.
Lucy's boyfriend was still sleeping, while they entered the house, and Lucy took Susan straight to the bathroom, undresses her and gave her a very hot bath. Susan was able to return to her right state of mind, after which Lucy's boyfriend wakes up and realize Susan is in the house.
Susan greets Lucy's boyfriend, " Good morning" and he responds, "Morning, beautiful lady" and that seems to anger Lucy, feeling irritated, that her boyfriend first words to her friend, Susan, is to commend her beauty. Lucy's reaction was out of involuntary jealousy, which is normal with all girls.
Lucy's boyfriend steps out of the house when he realised Lucy was having a conversation with Susan and he didn't want to interrupt the flow.
Susan told Lucy that she has been having this strange feeling and need to see the doctor. While she was talking, she starts throwing up. Lucy's room was completely messed up with very slimy vomit... The vomiting came abruptly, as she tries to run to the bathroom, she could not hold the pressure which releases the vomit and it splashes in the direction she released it.
Susan could not hold herself but was crying uncontrollably. She starts apologizing to Lucy for messing up her room, as she feels very terrible that such could happen to her since she never intends to mess up Lucy's room.
Lucy, was so kind to Susan, as she had to call a cab to take Susan to Queen's Clinic to see a doctor.
Suddenly, Susan slump, leaving Lucy in a state of uncertainty.
Lucy had to call Bob and his boyfriend who went out, leaving Lucy and Susan while they discuss. He came in, as Bob later joins and they can carry Susan into Bob's car, takes her to the hospital where she is attended to.
Suddenly, the doctor came out, and Lucy, rush toward him and ask him, "I hope my friend is fine? How is her present condition?" and the doctor, ask Lucy, "Can I see you privately in my office?"
Lucy goes into the office with the doctor that attended to Susan. The doctor offered Lucy a seat and takes a deep breath, after which, he asks Lucy, "Do you have an idea when last your friend saw her monthly period?" and Lucy answers, "Not really, because we have not been together for a while now. Nevertheless, I have observed her throwing up and I suspect what I wouldn't want to mention until it is confirmed because whatever I say, is an assumption and I do not like assuming things. My friend has been in a rented apartment by a man who acted as if he is not married, while he is. He had been having carnal knowledge of her. However, she discovered that he is a married man and I think, that was what dragged her into the state that she is now."
The doctor says in response to Lucy, "Well, I carried out some series of tests and realize, your friend is two months pregnant, however, she is doing well, but very traumatised. She needs to stay away from anything that will trouble her. I, therefore, advise that she should relax more than involving in anything that will increase her chances of being traumatized, else, this may lead to mental illness."
On hearing what the doctor said, Lucy was speechless, as she walks out of the doctor's office, straight to Bob. The moment Bob saw her coming, he rushes to meet her and ask, "How is Susan? I hope she is ok?" and Lucy looks at him with disdain like a disgusting thing.
"Why are you asking me?", Lucy says furiously, " You put her in the condition that she is right now. Well, the truth, the news about what is happening should not be heard from me, therefore, since Susan is much stronger, he will tell you because she cannot avoid telling you this. This is the implication of the sweetness you have been enjoying. Honey is sweet, you like honey well, but don't forget that the bees can bite you. I will be waiting for your reaction when you hear the news from your mistress, pretender. Bob, I do not know why, but I do not like you a bit."
Before Susan was discharged, Bob left the hospital out of anger because of how Lucy spoke to him. Soon after he left, Susan came out, however, before then, she had been briefed of the result of the diagnostic test.
Susan was confused, not knowing exactly what to do because this will certainly affect her relationship with her parent. Moreover, her greatest fear became, "What if...? What if Bob denies the pregnancy? Or, what if he decides that he doesn't want the pregnancy?"
However, Susan summons courage and conclude, she will tell Bob the truth and face the worse, as she prepares her mind for the worst. She also decides to tell her parent, nevertheless, would not want to face the worse from her parent as it will affect her entire life and cause her to leave in rejection.
Susan, despite her desperation, had never envisaged what is now happening in her life.
Susan left the hospital with Lucy, as they return to Lucy:s house.
