SUSAN'S PLAN TO RETURN TO SEE HER PARENT

Susan thought in her heart, the earlier I see my parent and tell them that I am pregnant, the better.

Before Susan leaves the town where she is to see her parent, she goes to Lucy's house to spend some time. Nevertheless, because of how Bob saved her life, she could not help but forgive Bob in her heart, but not in her action, as her actions depict total detest of Bob.

Susan feels traumatized because she could not put her thoughts together anymore, as she keeps experiencing wondering thoughts trying to imagine her parent's reaction after hearing the news that she is pregnant. After all, she has already imagined her father's unabated frantic anger, outrightly saying that he disowns her. She could imagine her father's fury burning like wildfire unequivocally.

The thought of Bob often using Susan like s*x toy hurts and increase her trauma. Nevertheless, on the contrary, the thought of Bob coming to her rescue when she almost committed suicide, relieves her nerves with a ray of hope that at least there is something good in Bob.

Susan needs Lucy's attention at this moment in her life because Lucy is the closest to her and it was because of her relationship with Lucy that she enters into the town where she meets with Bob in the course of desperately searching for a job. Lucy has always been an encouragement to Susan.

Susan starts having crises, which makes her sometimes violent to herself, even when nobody is talking to her, she will just be responding and talking to herself as she hears accusing voices of different ladies, insulting her, saying, "You are a prostitute, husband snatcher, gold digger, etc." The voices in Susan's head keeps driving her crazy, tormentingly suggesting that she should commit suicide.

The second day after Susan arrives at Lucy's house, Lucy notices changes in Susan, as Susan is becoming the shadow of her real self. Lucy starts talking to Susan, playing the role of a therapist, which help normalize Susan's thought pattern and clear up the tormenting voices in her head.

Three days after, Susan returns to her normal state of mind with the help of Lucy, as she decides to tell Lucy that she has to leave to see her parent now, feeling any more delay will not help the situation. Nevertheless, Lucy considers her decision very ok, but warns her to first have a private discussion with her mother and allow her mother to tell her dad, else, it will escalate the heat.

The next day, which is the day, Susan is to travel, Bob calls Lucy to find out if Susan is still with her. When he finds out Susan's whereabouts, he decides to drive to Lucy's house because he realizes, when he tries calling Susan's number, his call is always ending. Bob thinks Susan could have blacklisted his number. Bob becomes uncomfortable after being away without visiting Susan for some time after they had the discussion when Susan broke the news to him that she is pregnant. Therefore, he wants to redeem that absence with his presence.

Bob was not ready for what came upon him and the fact that he has his own legitimate family puts him in a state of uncertainty......

The bell on Lucy's door rings and Lucy get to the door, realizing Bob standing with a bunch of roses and a pack for Susan. Bob is asked into the house by Lucy, as he sits on a plastic chair, Susan walks in to welcome him. Susan is still looking depressed as usual. Bob gets up from the chair to hug Susan, but she resists him even as he persists. Bob hugs Susan, as feels some warmth and comfort though she refuses to show it to Bob.

Bob gives Susan the gifts and pleads for her forgiveness, promising to help her through the pregnancy.

Susan needs all the comfort, so she accepts to forgive Bob if he promises to stand by her because this is what she needs now.

Susan concludes that she has to tell her parent the truth since she is not aborting the pregnancy. This is because she cannot hide it from her parent, which implies, she must have to act swiftly since the pregnancy is now protruding, she cannot keep a secret that is growing.

Before Susan leaves Lucy's house to the park, she goes to a nearby boutique, buys a large long gown that could cover her obvious protruding stomach. Unlike Susan, she will never wear such kind of gown, however, she can not help but wear the kind of outfit she doesn't like wearing to cover up her pregnancy.

As Susan heads to the car park, she decides to use the First Bank ATM to make a withdrawal of some cash. After, withdrawing the cash, Susan heads straight to the park to book a vehicle.

Staying in the apartment that Bob got for Susan becomes a nightmare for her because she keeps experiencing strange dreams. As a result of what Susan was experiencing in her apartment, that was why she decides to relocate to her friend's house to spend some days before travelling to see her parent.

That day Bob visits Lucy and Susan in the relaxation park, he came to give Susan some money. However, Susan's behaviour made him call Lucy aside and hand over the money to Lucy to give it to Susan. Susan receives the money from Lucy knowing that she needs it at this time because of her condition that prompts high cravings and most importantly, for her welfare. Though, Bob has also paid a huge amount of money into her account, which is what she goes to the ATM to withdraw.

Lucy could not escort Susan to the park because she had an appointment at the time Susan decides to leave.

Fortunately for Susan, she arrives at the park when the last loading vehicle is almost full. Susan is the last passenger to book and her timing arriving at the park is perfect, else, she may not have to travel that day since it is difficult to get a vehicle going to the city that she is heading. This is because there is only one available car park.

Immediately Susan enters the car, sits down she starts feeling dizzy.

Suddenly, Susan starts sleeping and could not even remember that she is in transit. When the vehicle arrives at the park of Susan's destination, the driver had to wake Susan up, because she was still fast asleep. In amazement, Susan did not believe that slept through the journey.

Because of how Susan feels exhausted, she decides to enter one of the eateries in the park, where she seats down to reminisce. She orders a soft drink and snacks.

Susan in exhaustion decides to relax in a restaurant in the park. She orders a drink and snack because she is very hungry and thirsty. As the waiter brings the drink and snack, he realizes, Susan, completely lost in thought.

The waiter calls out to her, "Madam, I have brought what you ordered for" and Susan reacts as if she just woke up from sleep, saying, "Sorry, my mind was absent from here. However, thanks."

The waiter, says, "Madam, I hope there is no problem" and Susan answers saying, "Not really, thanks for your concern."

Nevertheless, the waiter decides to sit on the opposite seat facing Susan, saying, "If you will not mind sharing with me, maybe I could help, even if it is not literally, a word of advice is not enough but can change your thought orientation and go a long way."

The waiter sounds very caring, and because of his insistence, Susan opens up to tell him, "I am pregnant. I have return to tell my parent and I don't know how they will receive the news."

The waiter asks Susan, "Is this the reason why you are worried? See, worries will not change anything. Therefore, do not worry, what will be will be."

The waiter engages Susan and they talked for a long while until Susan did not even know when she starts smiling.

Susan feels refreshed after talking with the waiter because he is like an angel sent to shift her thoughts from worrying, as she now feels relaxed.

Susan appreciates the waiter, as she pays her bill and leaves the restaurant, waving a nearby cab, as the driver horns response to Susan, drives and parks right in her front. Susan describes where she is going and the cab zooms off immediately she enters and seat down. In a moment, she arrives, when she sees her family house while she drops from the cab, her heart starts beating and racing fast and furiously as the reality now dawns on her that she has to face her parent.

Susan arrives home.. as she knocks, she hears the voice of her dad,

"Who is there?" and she answers, "Daddy, I am the one, Susan."

Susan's dad in excitement opens the door, hugs her and say, "My daughter, look at you. I miss you and how have you been? We have not heard from you in a while. You did not even inform us that you are coming. However, you are welcome home."

Susan's dad pecks her on her cheek and Susan walks straight into her room, sits down and starts sobbing...

Susan mum hears her voice while in the kitchen and calls out to Susan's dad, "Sweetie, who's voice am I hearing?" and he answers, saying, "Your daughter of course".

"You don't mean it!", Susan's mum says, " And she did not even ask of me. Where is she?"

"She is in her room", says Susan's dad, as her mum walks out of the kitchen, straight into Susan's room. On reaching Susan's room, her mother quickly notice changes in Susan's look, as she tries wiping off her tears to hide and deceive her mother not to catch her sobbing. However, Susan mother has already sensed that something is wrong, as she walked straight to Susan and sit down with her.

"My daughter, what is the problem? You came in, you didn't even ask of me. This is unlike you." As Susan mother talks to Susan, she holds Susan in her embrace and realizes that she has added very serious weight.

"My daughter, I have never seen you in such kind of outfit, I hope all is well with you?", Susan's mum asks...

Susan's mum also notices that Susan cheek looks fat, but decided not to speak up about what she suspects. However, her woman instinct had told her that something is wrong with her daughter.

Susan did not know exactly what to say in response to her mum, she just says, " Mummy, please, I want to have a heart to heart chat with you. However, I am very exhausted, I need to nap for at least 10 minutes and I will after, join you in the kitchen. However, mummy, I am very sorry."

Susan's apology to her mum got her mum curious as she now insists that Susan must tell her what the problem is by not postponing the discussion. Due to Susan mother's insistence, Susan decides to open up by saying, "Mummy, I am three months pregnant".

The news of Susan's pregnancy reaches her mum's ear like a bombshell, as she could not even control her emotions.

On hearing Susan say, "I am three months pregnant", shocks her mum to the bone, as she immediately holds her chest, with a reaction as if she is experiencing a cardiac arrest.

"My daughter, what have you done? How can you be pregnant out of wedlock? I am so disappointed in you. How do I present this to your dad, knowing that he cannot take this? Hmmm! Susan, you dashed my expectation of you, why?", Susan's mum says, expressing her emotions, while Susan's eyes drip with tears.

"Well, I need to talk to your dad, when we are in bed because I just cannot do it now. He will roast you alive", says Susan's mum to Susan.

At 12:59 am, Susan's dad summons Susan into the parlour. When she sits down, it is as if the ground should just open for her to enter, because she is frightened, not knowing how her dad will react to the news of her pregnancy. Susan knows her mum must have told him,

for that reason, Susan is summoned.

"Susan, I need you to tell me now, that what your mum just told me is not true", says Susan's dad in rage.

Susan in fright says, "Daddy, I am very sorry. I know I have disappointed you. However, it was a mistake.."

As Susan is still talking, her dad shuts her up, saying, "Did I hear you say, "A mistake?", if it is a mistake, then, this mistake I cannot take. Therefore, you will have to eat this cake outside my house and never return".

When Susan hears these hash words from her dad, she starts weeping uncontrollably, pleading with her dad. Nevertheless, her dad was deaf ear toward her.

" Susan, I disown you as my daughter. I will allow you for this night to sleep. First thing, in the morning, leave my house", says Susan's dad to Susan.

After Susan's dad disown her, she becomes discouraged, coupled with the fact that immediately her mum hears her dad utter those hash words to Susan, she starts having a cardiac arrest.

Suddenly, Susan's mum, slump and was rushed to the hospital. Her condition was critical as she is now in a coma.

Susan could not stand her father's wrath, so decides to leave, since her father had thoroughly warned her not to come close to the hospital, else, he will kill her.

News reaching Susan two days after that her mum did not make it.

Susan weeps, for the death of her mum, as she now feels that there is no God as she says, "God if you are there, why would you allow all these to happen to me?"

Susan losing her mom, made her conclude that the death of her mom was all because of her mistake. For the reason that her dad was very hurt and disappointed, he refuses to forgive Susan, despite Susan's plea. Susan never gives up pleading with her dad, but the result was not positive because of how hurt he is.

Susan leaves her parent's house, mourning the death of her mum, as the memory of her dad disowning her remains. The thought of her mum's death breaks her down every minute as she starts living a traumatic life, always falling into depression, coupled with the fact that her pregnancy is growing, because the pregnancy is now three and half months, becoming very obvious.
