Lucas’ POV
I drive through the kingdom pack, heading towards the castle grounds. Security for the upcoming mating weekend has doubled since we were last here. So far, we have been stopped at 4 different check points since reaching the Kingdom Pack territory. Uncle Steven said he would have done the same if he had been in charge. An unknown number of wolves come from around the kingdom; there’s a clear threat to those in the pack.
I approach the castle and see Jacob, Hunter, Helen, Elizabeth and Kyle waiting on the stairs.
