And it was a very bright and shiny morning in the school premises,a young and pretty lady called Jane Clinton was the talk of the institution after gaining admission with the best score in the entrance examination. Harry on the other hand was a brilliant guy too who was the first runner up in the entrance examination, Harry is cute and diligent, he has an amazing qualities every lady would admire but Jane on the other hand seems to be a little proud and doesn't get to listen to what others say, she feels her own decision is the best and final. On the Early hours of that day Jane went out to check the Time table at her department only for her to meet Harry at the department and Harry been a nice man said hello and she gave him a very cold response, Harry tried to resist her beauty but Jane is too pretty to be Ignored so Harry told her they are in the same course, both of them are biochemistry student, Jane was just too cold with her responses and it's making Harry look stupid. Harry said to her I have a pdf note on this course which is BCH 101, now this is so interesting because Jane wants things like that, she quickly asked and said "Harry please pardon my responses, how do I get the PDF" then Harry said give me your contact will send it to you via the chat app. Jane didn't hesitate and she gave him her number instantly and they both agreed to meet in class the following day, both of parties left in different directions as they returned back to their various hostels. While Jane was going back, some group of guys in 300 level approached her and asked for a minute from her time, at first she felt reluctant and did not want to answer them but she later had a rethink and decided to heed their call, one of the guy who approached her said "I am Andrew and you, she said Jane" and he went on to introduce himself and how big and famous he is on campus, he even went ahead to say he has a car and a house, he lives off campus, When he was done, Jane asked " are you done running your mouth?" And the guy was shocked to the bones, these set of guys looked like some cult group but Jane wasn't scared, Jane was not enticed by all the flaunting made by the guy because she was From a wealthy and prestigious family, Jane's Dad is an international business man that deals with sales of automobiles and also her mum has a booming business, she sells all kinds of jewelries including diamonds. Jane was never over pampered by her parents, her Dad was a disciplinarian so he doesn't condole any nonsense act from her. After Jane answered them impolitely the other guy raised his hands to hit her but seems Andrew is their boss so he stopped the other guy from hitting her but Jane could not stand it as she was too temperamental, Andrew went closer to Jane and wanted to give her a peck but Jane gave Andrew a huge blow on his manhood and immediately Andrew fell down to the floor, his friends picked him up and quickly rushed him to the school medical center and he was been given some analgesic to help relieve the pain. Jane was Suprise she is already getting her self Into trouble just on her first day on campus, Andrew's guys declared Jane wanted because they want to take a revenge, but she's not aware of this. While she was walking home to tell her roommate the trouble she had caused, a call came in and behold it was Harry, he wanted to find out of she has gotten to the hostel but then she said no and Harry asked why then she explained all that happened on her way to him, Harry was surprised she Could actually feel so free to have confided in him that much, she was free after speaking to Harry and he gave her some calming words and adviced her on how to relate with guys like Andrew and his Gang, Harry asked her to call him when she gets to the hostel and she shouldn't bother speaking to anybody about what happened. Jane got home and gave Harry a call as agreed and then they spoke for a while and they made a bet on who was going to be in class first the following day, while they were speaking, Jane said to Harry, why are we speaking like we have known each other for long and Harry said I can't explain that too then they both smiled. Jane Said I gave you my number just because I needed the PDF note and now it's becoming something else, Harry said "Sure I will send you the note and you can delete my number after that" then Jane smiled and said you are my friend already and Iike your charisma, Harry was practically blushing, words like this from a pretty girl like Jane can cause any man to blush, she bade him farewell on phone and said she was going to eat and Harry asked what, Jane said Golden mourn because she's not a fan of cooking and Harry loves ladies that cook although he is yet to tell her, so he said okay, enjoy your meal. While they were still talking and saying goodbye, Harry made a loud noise like a shout of pain and angwish and Jane was asking what happened, what happened but no response, after some seconds the call ended and she was totally confused on what happened to Harry and why he screamed that way, she tried calling him later but he wasn't reachable, Jane couldn't sleep that night as she couldn't wait much longer till morning for her to know what went wrong, should we call this Jane and Harry's issues love at first sight, No it's not love at first but it's actually one good trait Jane has, she cares alot for people around her. Jane couldn't sleep through the night like she does, she was super worried about Harry and unfortunately Harry didn't call back through out the night and when it was morning, Jane quickly picked up her phone and called Harry and luckily someone picked up the call and it was Harry's roommate, she asked With a sad voice "Hello Harry what happened to you, I was extremely worried" Then Harry's roommate responded and said "it's not Harry, it's me Shawn his roommate, I know you don't know me" then Jane asked again what happened to Harry then Shawn said he mistakenly poured the hot oil he was using to fry plantain on his leg and he was quickly rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment, Jane further asked how is he now and the friend replied and said he was sleeping after taking some injections and analgesic drugs, Jane was relieved a bit but not satisfied yet until she hears directly from Harry himself. Jane asked for the address of the hospital as she Intends to visit him later. Shawn gave Jane the address and Jane promised to be there in three hours time. At 11:00 hours of that day, Jane was prepared and ready to visit Harry, she made him a lovely food and packed it in a lunch box then she heads straight for the hospital and in less than 30 minutes, she arrived and ask the Nurses at the reception for one Harry Joe and she was directed to the room Harry was, on getting there, she knocked and she was asked to come in, then she entered. For a moment after she entered they had this Lovely gaze at each other, this moment was so romantic and touching that the friend had to leave the spot immediately, Harry Gazed at her in Suprise because he wasn't expecting her to come around after both of them just met the previous day at the department, Harry was also suprised she skipped the First day of class just to come see him, the gaze did not stop until Jane spoke out and said "why are you looking at me like that, please stop" then they both smile and Harry said "I was expecting you to be in class by now, why are you here" Jane took that statement the wrong way and she was like why would you say such, was I wrong to have come here, I came because I care then Harry said "I am sorry that's not what I mean I am just suprised we only met for few minutes yesterday and you are already sacrificing your class for me" then she said "it's one of those things you do for people you care for" Harry smiled with so much gratitude and love all over his face and he said but this is the second day we are meeting and Jane answered immediately "it doesn't matter, I brought you food will you eat" Harry said yes I will gladly eat anything from you and while she fetched the food they had this chemistry building up as they kept stealing glances at each other, She gave Harry the food and while Harry was collecting the food they kept staring at each other and they went closed to each other, Harry moved his head closer to Jane and she did same thing while holding his other hands, something is about to happen, Jane met Harry on the first day at the department, they met the second day at the hospital and something serious is about to happen, let's find out what happened next in episode 2.
