゚・ 。゚ A BUILDING OF LUXURY OFFICES AND LOFTS ゚。・゚
“Dammit!” - Jax exclaimed as soon as he closed the attic's door that he was occupying in the same building where his offices were located.
At first, he had thought about going to the place he had bought in front of Cole's apartment but, after seeing himself in the bathroom's mirror, he had finally changed his mind.
As, without any doubt, he was going to need the medicine that he had in his cabinet.
“Damm slice of tomato!” - grumbled the young man as he carefully removed the jacket and shirt he had been wearing
“if I find out who is the one that had been throwing pieces of food on the restaurant's floor ... he is going to hear me, that is for sure!"
Finally, after staying in only his underwear, he went towards his bedroom with the clothes in his arms.
"At least now it does not hurt that much...” - Jax told himself as he left everything on the bed and turned towards his favorite mirror.
As soon as he saw the reflection of his muscular body in the full-length mirror that he had placed in one of the corners of the room, he let out a sigh.
“I knew it ...” - he murmured as he observed each of the bruises and scratches that were beginning to appear on his arms and legs.
But the worst part, without a doubt, were the marks he had all over his face. Some of which already had a swollen and reddened appearance.
"It is true what people say, there are some days when it's better not to get out of bed,” - Jax thought as he turned around and headed towards the bathroom.
After all, the fall had only been that start of his bad day as... he had ended beating that damn client they were going to talk to.
“You're going to pay me for this, Cole!” - exclaimed the young man who, with more force than necessary, ended closing the bathroom's door with a bang.

Meanwhile, in his private bedroom, Cole was reading one of his comics while happily drinking his pink milk.
From time to time he let out a giggle that illuminated his face and made his eyes shine.
A giggle that had nothing to do with the adventures of Natsu and Lucy but with the bruised face of a young man who, with an angry gesture, had left him a couple of hours before just a few steps from his building's door.
"He can hate me ... he cannot love me anymore but ... Jax is still the same as always” - Cole told himself as he put the comic aside and got up from the bed.
A few minutes later he had opened one of the drawers of his chest of drawers and pulled out a small gear consisting of two perfectly joined halves.
The young man smiled slightly, remembering the moment when he had handed it to Jax.
"I was so happy..."
However, that happiness had lasted very little ... a few months, nothing more.
With an abrupt gesture, he put the pendant back in the drawer and turned around, looking without really seeing through the window that was on his left.
After all ... only eight months later, he had found himself married and expecting his first child while Jax, simply, had chosen to accept that scholarship in England.
Cole let out a small chuckle of helplessness as, in his mind, he began to get lost in the memories of those months ... those months when he had been married to Brie.
゚・ 。゚ FLASHBACK ゚。・゚
Cole woke up and, with a growl, turned to the other side of the bed.
There, with a tired expression on her face and very pale skin, was his wife and the mother of his future daughter.
The young woman who, since two days already, has his last name and a ring that, like his own, has their initials and the date of the wedding engraved.
"Their big wedding ...” - thought Cole while letting out a slight sigh. He still could not believe that, finally, he was married.
Their parents, without a doubt, were happy because they had achieved what they wanted.
A young woman of good family and position to silence those rumors about a boyfriend. About a male lover.
A grandson who will carry on their last name.
If only they knew.
“Cole, I think she's coming ...” - Brie told him then, with a thin voice.
The young man sat down abruptly on the bed and, with a worried expression on his face, looked at the girl.
The young woman tried to smile bravely but, like him, she knew what this implied.
Seven months...
It's only seven months ...
And the doctor had already warned them of the consequences of natural birth.
“Brie ..."
The young woman shook her head while caressing her belly.
“Why did not you tell me before?” - he exclaimed as he began to get up quickly
“We need to warn my parents and the doctor, they need to ..."
Brie shook his head again.
“It's still too early for that...” - said the girl as she slowly got up
“for now I'm going to get dressed. Can you go and pick up the bags we had already prepared?"
Cole nodded and, running, left the bedroom in the direction of the baby's room.

As soon as the door closed, the sound of a blow and a curse coming from the hall could be heard.
"This Cole ...” - said the girl with a slight smile.
A few seconds later she placed a hand on her belly to whisper a few words ...
“Your dad is still as clumsy as ever ... but, without a doubt, that's part of his charm” - she mused
“I just hope he does not kill himself by lowering the things that are inside the closet".
No sooner had she said those words than, from the next room, several bulges were heard crashing to the floor.
Brie sighed and looked toward the window.
A few seconds later she started to frown.
As, just for a few milliseconds, she had seemed to notice someone that was inside the apartment opposite to Cole's.
Someone who she could recognize instantly.
She quickly turned to the other side of the room as she pressed the sheets that were under her bare hands.
"He is there ... again"
