Love Notes

Every morning, it became a usual habit for me to go first on the locker area before proceeding to my room. It is not new for me to see a note. A love note, specifically. 'Hi. I saw you dancing yesterday. I stopped for a moment to watch you. I am not yet contented because I ditched in our class just to watch your practice. You're really nice. I hope we'll give a chance to get along soon.' Love, Primitivo Jr.  I smiled after reading that note. PJ is one of the famous football player here in our university. He's also handsome. His best asset was his eyebrows. It can catch a person's attention easily. He also became the campus crush and many girls here badly want his attention.  "You're late again." our leader for our group project exclaimed. I can sense that he's mad right now because maybe he's not yet contented in the outcome of our project. The winning group will be exempted to our next summative test. And knowing Gelo, he's a very competitive person. I am always excited going to our class each day knowing the fact that I'll be able to read PJ's love note again.  'Hi. I saw how happy you are yesterday. I wish that you will always keep that smile on your face everyday. Seeing you happy makes me happy too.  Love, Primitivo Jr.  The smile on my face never fades until I entered our classroom. Rina hurriedly went to my seat to ask me the reason behind my mysterious smile. She had no idea about the notes I am receiving.  "Who's the reason behind that smile?" she asked.  "Secret." I answered before smiling again.  "You're really unfair, Eloiza!" she said before going back to her seat. Rina is my bestfriend. I am telling her all my secrets except to this one.  'Each day that I am seeing you, I fell in love more. I'm just earning a confidence to court you personally. Sorry about this notes. It is the only way I think to express how much I love you.  Love, Primitivo Jr. I want to tell him also how I feel right now but like him, I don't have the guts to say. Days passed, he's not getting tired giving me love notes. It was the 14th of February when I decided to go early in our school. At unexpected moment, I saw him smiling while holding a note.  I came towards him and he's even shocked after he saw me. "Why are you here?" His eyebrow raised. The butterfly in my stomach suddenly fades because of his stares. "I w-was able to read all the notes, PJ." I confessed. His jaw clenched. I can see that he's very mad right now.  "Why do you read all of that!? You knew that it was not for you, Eloiza!" he said angrily. Then reality slaps me hard! I cried infront of him. I was just hoping that those love notes were all for me but the truth is not! I was just coming here in the locker area so Rina, my bestfriend will not be able to see those love notes.  "I'm sorry. I l-love you, PJ. S-sorry if I did that." I just prefer to look at the floor while my tears are still flowing. I Heard his footsteps coming towards my direction.  "Those love notes that I'm writing only belongs to Rina, Eloiza. She was the girl I love. Sorry but it's not you."
