Tatton greeted him. “You’re early, sir. It’s still dark.” Taking a sip of his drink, Aden stared out the dark window. The sole lights outside emanated from the Dragon. The radiance cast an eerie green glow over the jagged rocks. In the pitch black of night, she did indeed resemble a dragon. “I was hoping to hear from Hyrath by now,” Aden said, adjusting his cap. “I want time to organize alternate plans before we speak with the professor this morning.” “You don’t think the Council will agree to his terms?” Aden shook his head. “I have a feeling they want to keep the Dragon as much as they want it to fight for Hyrath.
