"Hey Sia, I've been talking to you since we stepped in the car," Celine repeatedly tapped my shoulder.
"Uh, Wh-What?" she finally got my attention.
"What's the matter with you being so quiet?" "What exactly are you thinking?"
I chose not to tell her what Arthur had said to me, so I replied, "Nothing, I'm just tired."
We returned to the office to complete some tasks before returning home. Celine offered me a ride home, but I declined, saying I'd rather take a cab tonight.
I simply want to be alone...
Why would Arthur ask such questions out of the blue? I wasn't even sure what to say in response.
When I got home, there was no sign of Arthur anywhere, not even a phone call or text message. I'm curious if he was embarrassed about asking me to be his girlfriend.
