"Hey, Grandpa, what brings you here all alone?" I inquired, finding him in the living room by himself. Having finished getting ready for work and not seeing Sia in our room, I assumed she must be somewhere downstairs.
"I was with Margaret, but Sia came over and they had a conversation outside," Grandpa replied.
"Oh, really? This early?" I questioned, and he simply nodded.
Instructing Tanya to wait for me in the car, I made my way to the pool area to bid them farewell. However, when I arrived, they were engrossed in such a serious discussion that I decided to linger and eavesdrop for a while.
