Christmas Day
Catherine It was bound to happen sooner or later, all of the money that Jackson brought into Moher was spent quickly and unwisely. He and my sister are now penniless because Jackson’s stocks have not panned out the way he hoped they would. However, we do have some nice furniture back in Moher, but the food is another question. I hear movement over the dried leaves in the woods, raising my rifle, I scan the woods for what I hope is a large deer. I have been sitting out here in the cold woods for over six hours now hoping that I will be able to bring home some sort of meal for my family to eat on Christmas day.
