                                                                                    Henry After the battle in Gettysburg, General Meade and the Army of the Potomac have been halfheartedly pursuing Lee’s Army for the last several months.  We have met a few more times in battle but nothing compared to the sight in Gettysburg.  We are now returning to Brandy, Virginia to camp for the winter months, so it seems that for the time being, I will not see battle for a few months.  The Virginia winters can be very brutal, and it’s time to make camp and hunker down to survive the winter.    Finally, after months of moving around eastern Rotta chasing our enemy, we can finally stay in one place.
