Although she was reluctant at first, the moment she saw her mother, huddled in one corner of the room, Leila felt her heart break and she ran to engulf her mother in a tight hug.

“My Leila.” Axera groaned out as she felt like she was only seeing her daughter in a new light.
“Dante, get the physician.” Leila asked Dante through the mind link, yet, the moment he moved, Axera’s eyes sharpened as she immediately zeroed in on him.
“Who is he?” She asked harshly. It seemed like she was exerting strength but there was also a bit of fear in there and Dante narrowed his eyes as he tried to understand her. What was she doing?
