Celestial Clans: The vampire prince's origin

Prologue (how it started)

Many millennia ago, there was war in the celestial realm even before the earthly or hellish realms were created. A war so old and lost to history, that it has no actual or approximated date and no existing human recording. This war between the celestial beings had victors and had vanquished. The celestial beings that lost this war, lost because they had wrong beliefs and their punishment was one to give them a real feel of humility and avoid such a war ever occurring again. They were eternally exiled to earth. This was the worst form of punishment for beings that had experienced the very heights of celestial existence, a punishment even worse than destruction but totally earned.

They were cast down to earth and watched the earth grow. They watched the creation and development of humanity. These beings had been corrupted by negative energy and no longer possessed the beauty and aura they possessed as celestials, they were evil and only did the worst things on earth. They became known as demons and caused humanity to commit various atrocities using the magic they had always possessed. It was at this stage that the hellish realm was made by the first celestial to serve as a prison and home for his fallen creation. At the time when demons roamed freely on earth, echelons were made based on the possession of wings or lack of them, this was because 90% of demons lost their wings during the great war and only the 10% who were supposedly the strongest of the fallen celestials survived the great war with their wings intact. The first celestial being who was omnipotent and yet merciful had no intention to punish his fallen creation further than he already had and decided to have mercy on the 90% of the demon race that had lost their wings, and as such only sent the most powerful of them who still possessed their wings into the hellish realm.

He did this but left two of those winged and very powerful fallen angels on the earthly realm. The two who were left behind were Asmodeus and Ramon and this was surprising. This was surprising because these two were classified by mankind as the most evil of all the demons humanity had come in contact with. The weaker demons and the few men who knew of celestial existence thought the supreme celestial had made a mistake. Asmodeus himself felt insulted because he had been left on the earthly realm while others not as wicked or powerful were forced into hell, he went on a rampage and single handedly destroyed some of the great cities of that age, killing every human he came across. This all proved to be his fate as destined by the supreme deity because he met a woman and they both fell in the stupid and wild type of love one would only expect from human beings.

Things happened and it became clear to Asmodeus that he no longer hated humans, no longer cared about power and wanted to spend eternity with the woman. Mankind had already dabbled into magic but Asmodeus taught them magic on a different scale from anything they had ever seen. He lived with men they treated him like human royalty, not caring that he was a being of pure evil. The father of the girl he fell in love with was a wizard and a very powerful one, together with Asmodeus and her brother Vlad the trio concocted a plan. Vlad was unable to learn any form of magic, but wanted power and a life void of pitiful human death. Her father Jarim just wanted both his children to live under Asmodeus’s protection for as long as possible so that his family and bloodline would persevere. Asmodeus decided that he was going to give up a part of his immortality and raw power so that he could live with her as close to being a human as possible. He wanted an almost normal life with her. Jarim created a new spell with help from his daughter’s demon lover that would help him transfer a part of his divinity and immortality to men while receiving a part of mans humanity and mortality. The ritual involved him drinking the blood of a man who would also drink his human blood during a major natural incident which would then serve as a source of power for Jarim to recite the incantations that would bind their separate blood in their separate hearts and then metamorphose their physical bodies. It would make Asmodeus have a body that was part human and part demon while also making the man used for the ritual part human and part demon. Vlad who wanted to be powerful at any cost decided to be the man who would take place in the blood syncing ritual. On the day of the eclipse when the moon shone red, the ritual was done. Asmodeus could feel his eyesight dim, strength lessen, speeds reduce and most importantly he felt more human than he ever had in his long existence. He felt alive. Vlad on the other hand felt faster, stronger and more powerful than ever but there was a major setback to the ritual that no one expected. They both needed to drink human blood to remain physically stable, if they abstained for too long, then they would die. The woman Asmodeus fell in love with found him almost dead and coerced him into drinking blood from her, he bit into her neck and drank. She fell ill and became cold as ice for some days after Asmodeus drank from her, but she didn’t die. She rather became like him and like her brother, became stronger as well but also soon began craving blood. The men and women in the city who had lived with him for many years decided to help the being who they now considered their king and gave up their humanity so that Asmodeus, his lover and Vlad could feed and survive. They all became the very first vampire families and they were only the third celestial clan on the earthly realm because their new found physical blessings and curses had all come from the blood of a celestial, albeit a fallen one. The demons were the first celestial clan because they were fallen celestial beings, the witches and wizards who learnt the greatest secret arts from Jarim were the second celestial clan because his refined magic was taught to him by Asmodeus when he was still a celestial with celestial magic and the third clan were the blood drinking half human/half demon creatures who would later be known as vampires. Created by the wrong way for the right reason, which was love. This then led to the creation of the fourth celestial clan which was created at first solely to exterminate the vampires, the Kravians.

The Kravians were man-like wolves who appeared few years after vampires. They had the ability to stay in human form, wolf standing on two feet form or a visually terrifying mixture of both forms. The story behind their existence would become known only after centuries had passed. These four celestial clans existed along with the fifth clan on the earthly realm. The fifth clan which were the nephilim, giant men spawned by s****l relations between women and weak angels who lacked the true essence of divinity and gave in to physical desires.

There was constant conflict between these clans for centuries and these conflicts always had negative effects on the normal men who the earthly realm had originally been created for. In order to avoid the punishment of the supreme celestial, Asmodeus who had taken the human name Dracul and was now king of the vampire clan made an arrangement with descendants of Jarim who still possessed strong magic and used a planetary convergence which is one of the natural occurrences that releases the strongest bursts of magic on the earthly realm to change the situation. An alternate realm was created using magic and all the celestial clans were automatically moved into that realm when the spell was cast. The realm was like a totally new continent on the planet but not accessible by man. It was made for only beings with celestial essence so as to separate man from the celestial clans. The witches and wizards worked with the vampires and built magnificent cities for the great vampire families within the clan to live and thrive in, the Kravians who were never unified continued leaving in different packs within this alternate realm on the earthly realm. The giants died out after centuries because they could not reproduce and the demons became more malevolent and bloodthirsty because they had been caged on the new plane by one of their own without their consent. Mankind forgot about the existence of these beings and wrote them off as myths. A millennium passes and the realm now known as Havana which is now the home of all celestial clans continues to deal with the internal conflict between these celestial clans.
