however, if things keep going they way they are, there will be nothing but death all around.

Luna and her wolf (also named Luna), are the final hope. they must bring law, order and piece to the world.

With the help of a human witch with supernatural blood running through her veins Luna's destiny will hopefully be successful.

Episode one : The beginning.
Well, hello there, and welcome to this is your life!  No not really, I’m only joking, but seriously, this is a tale of a life. A life that was created for the sole purpose of bringing calm, order, law and hopefully peace to all living beings. This includes humans, were creatures, vampires, fairies, you know, all the ones that are meant to be fantasy, not real and made up? Yeah, well they’re real. And I am too. I certainly had my work cut out for me that was for sure.  So, I guess if you are reading this then my transition is complete and was a success. I hope it was at least. I can see that you are a little confused. Well, that is understandable I suppose. You haven’t been around for as long as I have. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Luna, the Moon Goddess. Yes, you read it right, I am THE moon goddess, pretty cool huh? So I suppose I should really start from the very beginning, back to where it all started. Ok well, here it goes.                                                 DAY ONE – DAY SEVEN (AKA WEEK 1). I had no idea where the hell I was, or where I had come from for that matter. It was like I had just appeared here, wherever here was. It was about two hours before the sun was due to rise, I had no clue as to what I was supposed to do. Nothing, nada, zip, zero clue. “Well, I am going to have to go along with it I guess.” I said to myself. Yeah, I do kind of talk to myself…...a lot, but when one is on their own who else would I talk to? Hmmm? That’s what I thought. So, I began wondering around the forest, making sure to take everything in. It was amazing that I could see in the dark. It was like I had the vision of the night stalking animal variety. The sun was rising, I could feel the warmth filtering itself through the leaves and branches of the forest trees. It was pure ecstasy. Once the daylight had made everything visible, I looked around me. I did a complete 360-degree rotation on the spot, and I was in awe. I had never seen anything so beautiful, so lush. All the smells just hit me from out of nowhere. I had a sense to keep walking straight ahead, so I did. After about an hour or so I came across a little clearing. This was the spot. Somehow, I already knew that this was going to be the spot I would build my little abode. How I knew I had no idea, I just did. The little clearing was surrounded by six huge trees, weeping willows to be exact, hmmm one of my favourite trees. The ground was covered with lush, thick yet soft grass, there were moss covered stones sprinkled around the area, some were large rocks some were not. I just stood there, in all this beauty. Watching all the birds, butterflies and other flying creatures flying all around me and between the trees. Some would rest in a rock, or a branch. They were all beautiful. As I took a few steps, slightly to my left I suddenly stopped. “Yes, yes this is the perfect spot for my home. It will do just nicely!” I say out loud, more to myself but also to the birds and butterflies too, I think. And it was as if they all nodded in agreement. Like they could understand what it was that I was saying. So, without any hesitation, I immediately began marking out the foundation of my house. It took a few hours, as I couldn’t decide on size, how many rooms, ya know all that stuff that comes with house designing. It’s a very daunting task when one is doing it all on her own. But in the end, I had decided on a cute little design that consisted of two stories with a total of six rooms. The layout would be the kitchen, sitting room and study/library on the first floor. Upstairs there will be two bedrooms with the bathroom between them. So now that I had that all figures out, it was time for me to build it. I had no idea how I was going to achieve that. After a few minutes I decided that I was going to have to do it…. by myself. Oh yay, I get to add home designer and builder to my resume. How exciting. Firstly, I was going to need all the appropriate materials for building this house. So, I headed off a little ways and found some nice flattish black rocks that I could use for the foundation, the floors and for the structural aspect. Can’t have one’s house falling on one’s head during the night, that would be a disaster. Surprisingly enough there were plenty of these black flat rocks left over, hmmmm interesting I thought to myself. So, once I had the bones (so to speak) of the house done it was time to get some trees and place them in between the stone corners and beams that I had made. Of course, I had to somehow, chop the trees down and get rid of the branches and the bark, I also had to make sure they were cut to the right length. Then I had to place them all where they had to go. I had to do this on my own. Oh, did I mention that I am not exactly a tall person? No? well I stand at a mere five foot and six inches. It took me three full days as it was, to complete the stone structure, I had decided that I was going to need four completely stone walls, one for the kitchen, one for the study, and the bedrooms were going to need a stone wall each as well, because I was going to need heating and a place to cook, and I don’t want to burn my house down. How was I going to be able to finish the rest of my house? A thought came to me. Well, it was more of a spark, than anything else. I decided to call it a thought spark. So, this thought spark was telling me that I was more than strong enough and powerful enough that I could do this on my own. I was still clueless. I stood there looking around me and thinking what the heck does that mean, when I stopped thinking and heard a tree fall. Then another, and another. I went to where I could hear the trees falling, and to my shock, there before me were at least ten to twelve massive pine trees all lying on the ground uprooted. “What the…, how did…?” I said to myself. Then it hit me. Oh s**t, I just made those trees uproot themselves. To say I was excited was an understatement, to say the least. If all I had to do was think about it, and it happens, then this was going to be so awesome. Mind you, I didn’t have to think or concentrate too hard, I guess there was a lot more to me than meets the eye. It took me roughly half the day to get the trees debranched, stripped of bark and cut to several different sized lengths. It took me three more days to get all the wood into place. I had left square holes for windows, and spaces for doors, as well as building a fireplace in both bedrooms and study as well as the stove in the kitchen. Day seven consisted of doing the roof, which I decided I needed a few more trees to do that. I found that I had gained several more abilities which assisted me quite well in building my house. Once the last piece of wood was in its place on the roof, I carefully got down, took a few steps backwards and admired my work. I was proud of what I had just completed. I did it on my own, well kind of on my own. I did have special powers aiding me in my creation. And considering I was on my own, it was a no brainer that I had to build a shelter of some kind. Yes, I know what you are probably thinking. “Why didn’t you just build a little shelter using branches and big leaves and mud and grass, that would have saved you a lot of time and effort.” But no, this moon goddess was going to have the best possible home that I could build with my own two hands. How am I going to bring order to this world if I can’t do tasks that are not only easy, but challenging ones as well? That would make me out to be a fake, someone who does not truly care for anyone or anything. By me challenging myself, and not giving up when it gets too hard, is something that I want to encourage. It is something that makes a being stronger, independent, and inspired to keep on going, no matter how hard or difficult the road ahead may seem. Anyway, after seven days, my humble abode was almost complete. I still needed furniture, window shutters, curtains etc.   WEEK TWO. So over the next week I dedicated each day for certain tasks. Day eight consisted of making all the window shutters and locks and carvings for them and the front and back doors. It was a little challenging, only because the carvings I wanted were of wolves and moon phases. But in the end, I got the job done and it looked how I wanted it too. Pretty yet artistic. Days nine, ten and eleven were the days I made all the furniture for my house. The kitchen table was big enough to seat six people, I also made the chairs as comfortable as possible. The beds were queen sized and my bed head had a wolf carved into it. The spare bed was rather plain as I wasn’t really thinking or expecting that I was going to have any company at all, but just in case someone needed a place for a night or two, there would be one. I had also made bookshelves, a desk and chair for the study, a walk-in pantry in the kitchen, a miniature version of the kitchen table for in the living room with a few sitting chairs and a couch situated in front of the fireplace. I had also made a sink and benchtops, as well as cupboards the doors to the cupboards were all plain). Along with the beds, I also made two dressing tables with mirrors, two wardrobes and two chests of drawers. The bathroom consisted of a sink and a bath, both I had “magically” made from black marble. I also “magically” created cooking pots and pans out of iron so that I could, well you know, eat!  I also conjured up some glass bottles so that i could collect fresh water. I used black oak wood and white oak wood to make a few other smaller items, like mantle shelves for all the fireplaces, shelves for in the bathroom and bedrooms, a few chopping boards, bowls, plates, cups, cutlery, and other containers out of the black oak wood. Days twelve and thirteen, were left to make all the material things. Curtains, blankets, bed sheets, towels, that sort of thing. I made sure that I had four sets of winter bedding, and four sets of summer bedding. I certainly made sure I had plenty of towels, seasonal curtains thick and thin blankets, some to go on the beds and some to just curl up in while sitting on the couch in front of a crackling fire on a cold winter’s night. When I was finished making all of that I was quite proud of myself. Day fourteen was left to gather food stuffs as well as seeds and what not. I also made a few garden beds out the back and flower garden beds out the front. I also made a little fence that went around my entire house with a front and a back gate. It was all complete. I was happy and content that I had finally found and created my home. This was where magic was going to be made. This place was all mine, and mine forever. I decided that because there was still a little daylight left, I was going to go down to the creek and fill up my bottles of water. It took me an hour to fill all nine bottles. But I now had fresh clean water. As I put the last bottle into my little pushcart that I made, something in the water caught my eye. I slowly crept back to the edge of the creek and investigated the water. All I saw was my own reflection, but then, for a split second or two I saw a wolf’s face in place of my own. But for some reason I was not scared. I felt like I knew the wolf looking back at me. She looked beautiful (assuming that it is a female). Her fur was gold, she had vibrant and bright glowing emerald eyes, and she also had a patch of white fur with gold streaks through it on her forehead. It took me a moment, but I realized that the white patch was in fact the crescent moon. Now I was really confused. I stood there for a few moments longer until the image disappeared. I headed back to my pushcart and headed home. I realized I was starving. I hadn’t eaten much in two bloody weeks. When I got safely back home, I looked up and saw dark clouds moving fast. Ahh yes, rain. Well, I suppose this is a good a time as any to test out just how waterproof my roof and walls are. I quickly rushed inside, and just as I closed the front door the rain started to pelt down. The drops were heavy, but after half an hour or so, everything inside my house, including me were still dry. The floors and walls were also dry, as was the ceilings. So, as it turns out I wasn’t a bad house builder after all.   WEEK THREE. The next three days were still raining. Luckily for me, I had enough dry firewood stored. This was also the time I didn’t feel like myself. I started to feel different. It felt like I was whole, complete. Yet I had no idea what all of that meant. I decided that I was going to take a nap. After all I had been rather busy over the last two weeks.   WEEK FIVE “Luna, Luna it's time to wake up now.” I woke up to the sound of a soft female voice. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Looking around my bedroom I saw it was empty. “I swore I heard a voice just now.” I say out loud. A soft giggle. “You did Luna. You heard me, your wolf.” Now I was starting to get scared and believe me when I say I don’t scare easily. I honestly thought that I was going mad. “You’re not going mad Luna. I am your other half, your soul. And I have been waiting an exceptionally long time to finally meet you.” “Oh, I see. Do you have a name?” I asked. “I do, in fact you and I share the same name.” She replied. “Well then it that case it is so nice to meet you, Luna.” I smiled. “Like wise. I knew the day I saw you in the creek that we were meant to be.” “Well, I guess I better grab something to eat now that I’ve had my nap.” I got up off of the bed, and stretched. “Oooh dear. Um, Luna?” “Hmmm.” I said still stretching. “That wasn’t a nap you just had.” My wolf said. “What do you mean that wasn’t a nap?” “You see in order for you to have gained me, and all of your other abilities, Oh gee. Well to put it plainly, you were in a coma like state for the last two weeks.” I sat back down on the bed. Did I hear her right? Two weeks, in a coma like state? All of my other abilities? I was starting to get a headache. “So, I guess I have been here for five weeks now instead of three?” I spoke. “Yep, that is correct. You and I have a lot of work to do. We have to make sure that all is well down here before you and I can transcend up there.” My wolf moved her head upwards. “Excuse me? What do you mean exactly by up there?” I asked. “Well once our work is done here, how ever long that takes, you will transcend up into the heavens.” “Yeah right.” I exclaimed. I had no idea what I was in for. I knew that I had been put here for a reason, a sole purpose. But to transcend? What did that even mean? Do I have to die or something? “Yes. It’s the only way that you can be reborn and transcend to make everything we have done set in stone so to speak.” “Right oh then. Let’s get cracking Luna. We have a whole lot a s**t storms and f**k ups to fix.” And with that, my wolf went to the back of my mind. How the bloody hell was I going to do all of this. This was going to be tough, no doubt about that. There was more than likely going to be blood and tears shed, tantrums thrown, objects thrown and smashed. Hell, all sorts of things were going to happen, but I knew one thing was certain. I had to stay calm and in complete control. If I falter for just a moment it would almost all come crashing down around me. I headed downstairs to grab a bite to eat. While I was eating some bread and cheese, I had to relight all the fires. I busied myself with that for about an hour or so. I then went out to weed all my garden beds, as during my two-week nap, there was no one to weed and cater to my gardens. I had feeling. It wasn’t a bad feeling, it was more of a neutral feeling, if that could even be considered as a feeling? Anyway, I ignored it for a bit and carried on with the task at hand. After a few more moments, for some reason I looked up. And there standing before me was a human. “Hi there.” She said, she was rather cheerful. “Hi, can I help you?” “I certainly hope so. Are you by any chance Luna the future moon goddess?” I stood there looking at her with my mouth wide open. How the heck did she know my name? “Yeah.” I said slowly. “Great, I’m Jade. And I’m a witch. One of the most powerful witches I might add.” She said with the utmost confidence. “Hi.” Was all I could muster up. “Invite her inside!” My wolf whispered. “What?” I said out loud. “Oh, right yeah, got ya.” I said to no one in particular. Jade spoke. “That to me sounds like you have your wolf? Am I correct in saying that?” “Ahh yep, yep, you are correct in saying that. Know excuse my rudeness, but would you like to come on inside? it looks like the weather is about to turn nasty again.” I said. “Sure, that would be lovely. Thankyou Luna.” “Not a problem.” I ushered her inside and closed the door. Make yourself at home, I’m just going to go round and shut and lock all the shutters, I can feel a storm coming, I can feel it in my bones.” I half shouted as I ran upstairs. Once I had gotten all the window shutters and the front and back doors locked so the wind wouldn’t make itself known, I put a pot on the stove, filled it with water and let it boil. I grabbed two cups down of the shelf and proceeded to make us both a hot cup of tea. “Luna, please don’t think I am being rude when I ask you this, but how long have you been here and had your wolf for?” I looked at her as if she thought I was stupid or something. But I decided to play along with her game or whatever it was she was doing. “Hmmm. Ahh well I have been here five weeks now. The first three weeks was spent building my house here, and the last two weeks I was apparently in a deep sleep or coma like state, if you will. I woke up today and I also got my wolf today.” “I see.” Was all Jade said. “I actually saw her reflection in the creek the day I went for my two-week nap.” I added. “Ahh yes, very good. Very good indeed.” “Can I ask you something Jade?” I said while pouring the boiling water into our cups. “Ask away, Luna.” She replied. I finished stirring our tea, placed a cup in front of Jade, she smiled and said thank you, then I went and sat down in my chair at the head of the table. I looked at her for a few moments before I spoke again. “Tell me Jade, why are you here? And how did you find me?” “Ahh my dear child, you are still young and have a lot to learn. I have always known where you have been. I have been following you and watching your every step. Making sure you don’t f**k up like the last so called moon goddess.” “Um excuse me? Other so called moon goddess?” I was getting more and more confused by the second. “Yes, my dear. You see you are our final hope. If you succeed, then every human and supernatural being will survive and live. How they live is of course up to you, but if you fail then there will be utter chaos and devastation on the earth, and there will be blood and death everywhere you look.” “That’s a bit extreme don’t you think?” I asked tilting my head to the side. “No, not at all. You see the last “so-called-moon goddess” decided that once she obtained her wolf and powers, she went a little crazy in the head, she wanted more power, she wanted to be the ultimate in beings, but unfortunately in this day and age you don’t always get what you want.” “So, what happened to her?” “I killed her.” I spat my drink out. “You what?” “I killed her. You see Luna, my sole existence is to find and guide the true moon goddess. It is my sole job to make sure she can handle and channel her powers and abilities safely, and not to use them for personal gain. I have to make sure she is safe at all times right up until it’s her time to transcend.” “Does it hurt?” I quietly asked. “Does what hurt dear?” “The whole transcending thing, does it hurt?” “Honestly, I don’t have an answer for that. We have never had a moon goddess that has successfully transcended. To be perfectly honest with you, no one has ever gotten that far.” I just sat there in silence. Trying to take it all in. Trying to understand why I was the so called chosen one. “Because you and your wolf are or pure heart, mind and soul.” Jade said. Scaring the absolute bejeesus out of me. “That’ll do it I guess.” I said. Remembering what Jade said earlier about her sole existence, I had to ask her another question. “Jade?” “Yes, dear.” “You said your sole existence is to find and guide the true moon goddess?” “Yes, that’s correct.” “Well, my question is this. What happens to you once you have completed your set and given mission?” before I had even finished the question, I already knew what the answer was going to be. “I will die.” Jade said softly. “Oh.” Was all I said. After a moment or two of silence, I looked up at her. I could see she felt hurt by the hand she was dealt, her destiny if you will. “A rather crappy one if you ask me.” I heard my wolf say quietly. I agreed with her. “I won’t let you die, Jade. I will give you a choice when the time comes.” I swore I saw a tear drop from her eye. Jade just smiled. “Quick change of subject, how long are you planning on staying? I mean you can always stay here if you like, I do have a spare room.” “That I think would work out beautifully my child. Thankyou.” The rest of the day went by smoothly. Jade and I just pottered around the garden. We got to know each other a little more. She told me that even though she is human, she does have supernatural blood running through her veins. This intrigued me quite a lot. “So, how can you be human and have supernatural blood?” I asked her. “I honestly do not know. I was born like any other regular human; however, my parents knew right from day one that I was different. They took me to see our elder, and sure enough I was then given my destiny.” “Ok, so technically if one has supernatural blood, then they should be able to live for almost ever? Right?” I asked. I knew then that what I had just said was the start of my mission. I didn’t know how I knew; I just did. “Well, not exactly Luna. You will yes no doubt live forever because you are destined to be the moon goddess, and you just can’t have a new moon goddess replacing an old moon goddess willy nilly as that would just add to the chaos and mess that this world is already in.” “Oh yeah, no I get all that Jade, I’m just wondering how this, how I fit into all of this. Why was I the lucky one? You know?” “In a way, yes I do think I know what you mean, but all I can say is that just these last few hours that I have spent with you, I know that you are the right choice and you’ll more than get the job done.” “I certainly bloody hope so.” I said as I pulled the last stubborn weed from my carrot bed. That night after Jade showed me how to cook a beautiful vegetable stew, we sat in the living room just talking and gazing into the flames of the fire, listening to the flames crackle as the sap dribbles and bubbles out of the logs. It was well and truly into the night when we both decided to head up to bed. I lay in my bed staring into the darkness, just thinking about the day’s events. I laid there for a few more minutes and decided to get back up. I couldn't sleep anyway.  So, I grabbed myself another cup of tea and headed to my study/library. I decided to start writing down a few of the ideas that I had floating around in my brain. Little did I know that with every letter, every word that was put to paper, it would not only come into fruition, but it would be law, and it would be final. I didn’t see or hear Jade coming into the study until she spoke to me. “Luna?” I looked up. “Yeah Jade?” “What are you doing?” she walked over and sat opposite me. “I’ve decided to start writing stuff down, I have so much stuff running through my mind at the moment I need to get it all down and start putting it all in some sort of order.” I sighed. “That is a very wise move my dear.” Jade said smiling.
