Clifton POV:

I know that Natty gave me and Kyle the option to hold off on telling her the truth about it but I know I need to tell her the truth anyway, especially if she and I are to be husband and wife.

“When we were little just before your memories were erased my father began my training as a monster hunter hence how I knew what was looking at us before you saw it at least. Anyway Kyle and I are among the best” I began to say but was cut off by Kyle “among the best? Man who are you trying to kid? We are the best! We were trained by Gregory and we even out did the best, impressing them too!” Kyle was just shaking his head and looking at me with a disappointed look. I gave a heavy sigh and continued “before I was inturpted by MR. DUMBASS and SHOW OFF! I was going to say that you were supposed to begin your training as well but your mother said no that be a bad idea, it was your fathers idea just as a fall back option I think he said”

She looked like she still had a question, “Natty? About the telekinesis? You’ve always been able to do that since you were a baby, in fact the first time I saw you do that you were maybe 10 months old and you really wanted your bottle. I still think it’s the cutest thing I ever seen” I said with a smile, luckily she finally looked a little calm now. Man I’m seriously in love with her!

Just as I’m about to say anything my mother comes in and says the craziest thing for the day

“Natty sweetheart I’m throwing a pre engagement party!” We all just stared at her but Kyle’s head just began to twitch a little bit with a smile on his face I knew he was about have an outburst but all I could do was shake my head while giving my mother a fake smile saying “yay mom! Sounds like fun, but what’s your real objective here?” I said as I slowly started to look dead serious.

I want you two to meet everyone from the other 3 witch clans and from the 6 hunter clans too.” She said with an almost sinister smile, while Kyle just got up and just walked out the room gently closed the door mouthing excuse me…about ten seconds later he let out an agrivated scream. Natty just looked at me with her head c****d “what the hell!? Why’d he do that? Because now I think I’m slightly afraid of this so called pre engagement party. Why did he act that way when you said you were throwing that party?” As my mom just shrugged her shoulders and said” I have no clue why he acted that way I haven’t ever thrown a bad party” my mother said, I can’t help thinking of the last party she threw and what I distinctively remember is that invited my ex to the party and almost ruined the party. My ex can be quite jealous plus the fact that she cheated on me and had the nerve to think she can lie to me about it not to mention she even tried to sleep with Kyle shaking my head she should’ve known better than to try that. Kyle literally set her dress on fire and watched run around like a chicken with their head cut off, that honestly was the funniest thing ever! But I hate to think what she’d do when she finds out about Natty, unfortunately my mom really likes Eve if my mom even thinks about ruining my future marriage with my Natty I’ll never forgive her. “Mom?” I said “yeah son? Something wrong?” She asked all concerned, “yeah something is wrong did you invite her?” I asked her getting angry just thinking about that backstabbing cheating b***h. “Her? Who’s her?” When my mother said that I stood up slowly and began to stare daggers at her she sensed that I was pissed and began to step back slowly “did you invite that w***e to my and Natty’s party?!” I asked her pissed off now “young man who do you think that you are talking to!? If I invite her than that’s my choice since I’m throwing the party!” She said and took two steps closer to me just before she could say anything “Now that’s enough! I don’t know who this girl is that your both talking about but if it clearly upsets Cliffy this way then you should ask her not to come her please?” Natty said quickly defusing the situation, my mother let out a sigh “alright I’ll call her tell her not to come, I just thought that maybe you might like her Natty…” my mother said and I looked at her with an eye raised and a disgusted look on my face why shaking my head “I don’t think I want to meet her, I don’t know why but I have a bad feeling about her already” said natty with determination “when is this party? So that way just in case she ignores you which I have a feeling she will I can prepare” Natty said, my mother just looked at her with shock on her face yet she wasn’t upset “you are definitely your mother’s daughter, don’t worry if she shows up I’ll take care of it I swear” my mother said.

My mother left the room leaving me and Natty alone. In silence I looked at her but she had her head in a book, “whatcha reading?” I asked her “oh nothing just a random book I found on the shelf” she said in a embressed way. I crouched in front of her and tilted the book up “Supernatural Soulmate” I raised my brows and said “Natty baby? Why are you reading this?” I said as I began to laugh a little “don’t be mean! I just thought that maybe I’d find some answers about something I’m too embarrassed to ask about that’s all!” She said defensively while trying to his in the book. I couldn’t help but smile and touch her face “I’m not being baby I’m just a little amused and curious, what do you think you can’t ask me?” I said my usual way with a smile on my face. “Fine want me to ask you okay but don’t laugh when I ask it”

She said adamantly “ok baby what’s the question?” I asked her, she took a deep breath “Can witches have soulmates who are hunters? Or can a witch have a bond with her intended soulmate when they are an infant?” She asked nervously, I got up and sat next to her and pulled her closer to me and patted her lovely hair “sometimes witches do feel their mate when they are infants and their mate is within the vicinity, when you were a baby you cried and fussed when I was nearby but when I held you in my arms you stopped and your mother knew that I had to be your soulmate” Natty looked up at me while I was patting her hair “really? So I knew before you did?” She asked I smiled at her “that’s right Natty you knew I was the one when you were a baby” I began to kiss her forehead and cheek while we both laughed then slowly I began to stare in her eyes and ran my thumb over her luscious lips while biting my lower lip, when I looked into her eyes again I started to lean closer to her until finally our lips meet and then we shared the most passionate kiss and before I knew it she mounted me and deepened the kiss but before anything could any further Kyle burst in “Alright now I’m calm and…” he paused and said “Oh f**k my bad I didn’t mean to interrupt you two!” As he finished saying that Natty got off me and ran to the bathroom. “Natty!” I said but she just slammed the door.
