Chapter 3

Aubrey spun on her heals to see a tall lean man who was like another wall filling Lily's door way.

"If your asking if I am some hippie, no, and no I don't do drugs or drink I am here to study and live my life in peace if im lucky," Aubrey blurted out shocking herself. She had no idea where that came from, but she rolled with it and stood her ground.

"Your not that feisty your more sassy. I am Ty by the way I rent the basement," He laughed as he looked her up and down and licked his lips. With a hopefully polite looking smile Aubrey decided to try he new her and walked toward the door.

"Ok and your opinion of me doesn't really matter i'm not here to impress you now if you would excuse me and Lily I love your room we should get coffee sometime," Aubrey said calmly as she waited to be let out of the door.

"Well maybe you are feisty," Ty smirked as he barely moved to let Aubrey out of the room.

Gently closing the door behind her Aubrey escaped back into her room with her heart pounding. She has not spoken up for herself let alone spoke at anyone like that since she was beaten and almost r***d. Aubrey felt the tears form and she quickly found a one of her favorite science journels about aquatic life and emercered herself in her studys and interest while breathing. Aubrey had fallen asleep and was woken up to Knock Knock Knock

"Hey I made dinner if you want some its on the table," Lily said lightly through Aubrey's door..

"Thank you, I will be right down," Aubrey said as she looked around puzzled. I was asleep and I didn't have a nightmare or crappy dream of any sort, Aubrey thought to herself. As she realized she had slept well even if it was short she couldnt help but smile. After fixing her ponytail and making sure her face was clean Aubrey headed down stairs.

Upon aproaching the dinning room Aubrey could hear the male voices. s**t I forgot about all the tall sexy wall people, Aubrey yelled in her head. Ok be cool be polite be fast and it will be fine. With a deep breath Aubrey came into the dinning area to find Ty, Jax, Levi, and lily all sitting around the table putting food on their plates.

"Yay you came. Im happy these jack in the boxs didn't chase you off," Lily laughed as she shot daggers at Ty and Jax.

"You can sit next to me we set you out a plate Firecracker," Ty said while watching Aubrey from the corner of his eye.

After a short pause Aubrey decided it best to sit down. It is food she could not pass it up and it smelled amazing.

"Lily this looks and smells amazing," Aubrey said with a smile as she ignored Ty next to her.

"So angel what is your major," Levi asked with his eye glued to Aubrey and a smile across his face.

All the guys stoped when they heard Levi of all of them call her angel first. Levi has never voted a girl into the running before.

"It's Aubrey and I am studying the sciences I want to be a vet," Aubrey said with a smile as she dug into her mountain of nachos she piled on her plate.

"Why did you transfer schools mid year last year,"ty asked with a straight face while watching her every move.

"I wanted to. Why are you acting like the dad of the house do I have curfew too," Aubrey asked under her breath

"Do you like calling me daddy," Ty asked as he leaned in nose to nose with Aubrey.

Her face turned red and she wished her hair was down.

"In your dreams I didn't even want a male room mate to begin with," Aubrey chirped as she started to eat again. With that being said all the men at the table smiled at their last vote in before choosing who the angel would be.

Over the next two weeks the boys kept their distance from Aubrey. They would joke and flirt with her at dinner, but they left her be out on campus. Classes have been easy so far and life is falling into place. Everyone leaves me alone and I leave everyone else alone. My favorite professor so far is sadly my photography instructor. He is a very kind older man with a great eye through the lense. As I walk in after a quick second week of classes I am grabbed around the waist by Jax and he spins me dancing throuhg the dinning room.

"Jax why are touching me and why are we twirliing through the house," Aubrey yelled as she was trying to watch her feet and get away at the same time.

Jax stops mid spin throwing Aubrey off balance. Jax laughs and pulls her in and lays a kiss on her cheek and walks away. Aubrey is stuck in her spot stairing after Jax who just walked out of the room.

"Party time time fuckers lets get this place ready," Lily yells walking through the front door.
