Uncertainty

715 Words
I think the hiesenberg uncertainty principle can also be applied to human psychology in the manner that the more that a person tries to nail down and label themselves or others, the less they ultimately know about the human experience. However, in calculus terms... if we focus on the motions, patterns, and changes... we see a lot more by not looking for a specific point in time but in looking at the motion itself. To inherently define humanity defeats the purpose of knowing humanity in its most true form. There's powerlessness in the chaos of not knowing what something is... but even in our labels and rhetorical languages... there's infinite meanings to the words we use. Where people are all speaking different languages subjective to their human experience but we all somehow at least have a loose comprehension of one another. So if our human nature of chaos can bring us to such an understanding every day that is beyond our comprehension... why can we not just let go of trying to label the world. I feel we would know so much more about life and the world around us if we stopped trying to put words to it. If we could just let our human experiences develop that understanding free of words. To speak without speaking. In this light, words and labels are the least intelligent thing in this world. That true understanding doesn't come from us speaking but listening... perceiving... existing... you want to know the meaning of life... stop searching. Words will never define your unanswered questions in life... they will only bring you further from what your soul craves. Even if some all knowing being could tell you what the meaning of life is... with words it would likely be very underwhelming. It sounds weird saying that understanding comes when you let go of your efforts to find that. But life is so full of these dualities if you simply examine. Forget what you think you know and what understanding has been forged by the world around you. Don't look at what you know to be... look at what is and you'll find these things to be very different. So with that... why speak? Why communicate? We speak to connect and understand one another. See that question i answered... it seems underwhelming doesn't it... most answers are underwhelming. But experience and understanding carries importance. Hence why rhetoric and semantics are such a seriously flawed system. A single phrase can anger some and bring comfort to others and its all completely subjective... rhetoric is flawed in the manner that it proves the uncertainty principle to be valid. Rhetoric takes something that's subjective and pins labels and connotations on a person at any given moment. Their emotions could be anywhere, their understanding and perspective could be anywhere at that point. Yet the second the words leave someone's lips, the illusion of some understanding is made. Reality is that its much like the word seal in French. Les phoque... to those who speak English it sounds like a very familiar cuss word but to the French it is an animal. Much like rhetorical differences. In rhetoric the factors of understanding are infinite and impossible to really pinpoint with words. So how can communication click in people's mind from words to understanding? Association... experience. Ever heard of the different types of learners? There's those who are hands on, those who learn from examples, some who need detailed instructions, and some who need a combination of any of these 3. If someone can relate their experience to what is being taught, they will learn and find that bridge to understanding. But we've all had some point in our lives where we've had teachers that we just didn't understand or resonate with. This parallels the psychology of how we create our environments on a subconscious level to validate and hold our complacently comfortable views on the world. Most people shove out that which challenges their experience and understanding of the world. Sometimes even to aggressive and hurtful degrees. But its the people who claim to know more that are actually the most ignorant. Because that itself is a contradiction that is a part of life. Those who "know" are the least teachable by the universe around them.
