The Devil's Guide To Ethics

I wanted to start this book by laying out some general perspectives that will overshadow the entirety of this material. You may be reading this and wonder why you are reading a book on ethics written by the devil. Do you feel that curiosity running through your mind right now? That's the very principle here. That's why the title has already gotten under your skin and in your mind. First thing i must lay out is that everything that humanity believes is completely subjective when viewed on a systematic level. Any statement that says that something "should be" on a collective level is only an opinion. When we think of everything on that economic level or on that level that everything has a price thats paid in money, time, energy, or credence. This chaos that is your very being starts to make sense. What are you buying with all of this? In earlier times people bought their survival with such commodities. Now humanity has grown weak and meaningless. Most of the population spends these commodities on running from who and what they are. Held to this unreasonable standard of good and evil. Most people sit there and say "I'm just me". You don't really look at the collective experience called your life and believe that though. Every voice in your head is where your god and i rule you every day. But I'm only a symbol of your actions. A face you turn to to lack accountability. Much like when you turn to god for when you lack strength to overcome something. Reality is that the strength is always in you and you just need to feel that someone is there listening. You need to feel that you have a reason for all of this. Maybe you should humor the idea that on this plane of life, your only purpose is what you make it. Your life only feels so meaningless because you don't know yourself enough to chase what you want. That indecision in your heart rules you and consumes you and the only justice and escape you can get is through learning yourself. If you want to get there internally you need to see good and evil for what they are. Its subjective bullshit that diminishes your humanity. Your flaws and mistakes are just as important as your skills and endowments. The collective culmination of all of these factors add up to who you are as a person. It separates you from everyone around you. When you see life through my eyes not through the perspective of good and evil but just from a perspective of natural consequence, you see that the world wastes its energy on their attachments. The strongest and most adept are ones open to necessary change for themselves. It's not the "devil" telling you to act against your stability, it's that prying thought that maybe this isn't what you really want. Humans are constantly questioning whether something is really stable. When these checks prove to be anything less than what they hope for, there's this existential dissonance that challenges their very way of life. This is usually seen as a bad thing but it's an opportunity to evaluate
