Blurb

They were known only as the Sovereign Kings, three brothers, three specters of divine retribution walking among mortal men. Beautiful, terrifying, and merciless, to cross their path was to welcome your own ruin.

Dante, he was the Archon of Truth, the mind that unravelled every lie before it was spoken. His gaze could dissect a soul in seconds, finding the single flaw that would shatter a person from the inside out. Deceiving him was an impossibility; crossing him was a death sentence.

Then came Julian—the Archon of Desire. Warm as a fever dream, magnetic, and completely ruthless. He moved through humanity leaving a trail of broken hearts and ruined lives, using love not as a comfort, but as a drug to manipulate and conquer. He laughed while he destroyed, playing a game only he understood.

And finally, there was Malakai. The Archon of the Void.

If his brothers were storms, Malakai was the cold silence that followed complete destruction. He felt no pity, held no hesitation, and left no survivors. His face was a mask of flawless marble, concealing an abyss so deep that even light seemed to die in his presence. He was the most dangerous creature in existence because he had nothing left to lose.

Bound by an ancient celestial decree, the three brothers were sent down to the mortal realm. Their mission was secret, their deadline cruel: accomplish the task before the total eclipse, or be erased from existence entirely.

The Mirror Cracks
EPISODE 1 The velvet curtains of the penthouse suite failed to keep out the suffocating stillness of the dawn. Evangeline Cross woke not to the sound of her private alarm, but to a searing, unnatural heat burning beneath the surface of her skin. It felt as though tiny threads of liquid fire were being woven beneath her jaw, pulsing with a rhythm that wasn't her own heart. Trembling, she threw back the silk sheets and staggered toward the master bathroom. Her reflection was her sanctuary, her altar, the single truth she worshiped above all else. She leaned against the cold marble sink, taking a shaky breath before looking up into the gilded mirror. A sharp, ragged scream tore from her throat, shattering the morning silence. Creeping up from her collarbone, climbing across her jawline like a sprawling spiderweb of rot, were black, jagged veins. They didn't just mar her flesh, they pulsed. A thin, wispy haze of dark smoke hovered over the corrupted skin, vanishing into the air only to be replaced by another wave of agonizing warmth. "No... no, no, no!" Evangeline slammed her palms against the glass, her eyes wide with unadulterated terror. Her skin, her flawless, priceless, iconic skin, was decaying before her eyes. Within two hours, the Cross estate was thrown into absolute chaos. The finest private physicians, dermatologists, and infectious disease specialists in the hemisphere were flown in via private jet, summoned by the furious demands of her father, Arthur Cross. Armed with millions of dollars of cutting-edge equipment, they poked, prodded, and scanned. Yet every test yielded the exact same result: nothing. "Her blood work is pristine, Mr. Cross," the head surgeon stuttered, wringing his hands as Arthur’s security team stood stoically by the door. "Biochemically, there is zero indication of pathology. Her vitals are exceptional. Mechanically, medically... there is nothing wrong with her." "Nothing wrong with her?!" Evangeline screamed, hurling a crystal vase against the wall. Shards exploded across the floor. "Look at me! Look at my face! You useless frauds! I pay your salary, I fund your research institutions, and you stand there telling me I’m imagining this?!" "Evangeline, sweetheart, calm down," her mother pleaded, tears welling in her eyes as she tried to reach out. "Don't touch me!" Evangeline backed into the corner, wrapping her arms around herself, her breathing ragged. "My twenty-first birthday gala is in four days! The global press, the investors, every prominent family on this continent is coming! If anyone sees me like this... if they see this monstrosity..." She couldn't finish the sentence. Her entire identity, her power, her cruel reign over everyone around her was built on the foundation of her absolute perfection. Without it, she wasn't the queen of high society; she was a spectacle to be pitied. Or worse, mocked. "Get them out," she rasped, pointing a shaking finger at the doctors. "Get all of them out of my sight before I have my father ruin every single one of their careers!" As the terrified physicians scrambled out of the suite, Evangeline retreated to her private wing, locking the heavy mahogany doors behind her. She moved through the vast room like a wounded animal, smashing every looking glass, vanity, and reflective surface until her hands bled. The room became a graveyard of shattered mirrors. Exhausted, sobbing with a mixture of rage and terror, she collapsed onto the velvet rug. The pain in her face throbbed again, a harsh reminder of the dark veins spreading higher toward her cheekbones. Why is this happening to me? She thought wildly. What did I do? And then, amid the chaotic spiral of her thoughts, a memory cut through the panic, cold, sharp, and terrifyingly vivid. Episode 2: The Stranger in the Rain It had happened forty-eight hours ago. The rain had been falling in relentless sheets over the coastal highway, slicking the tarmac into a black ribbon of mist. Evangeline had been speeding home in her custom matte-black sports car, furious after a minor disagreement with her boyfriend, Lincoln. She was driving far past the speed limit, pushing the engine just to feel the thrill of control. Then, out of nowhere, he appeared. A solitary figure standing directly in the center of the dark lane, unmoving, soaked in the downpour. Evangeline had slammed on the performance brakes, the tires screaming against the wet asphalt as the car skidded to a halt mere inches from his knees. Adrenaline had spiked through her veins, turning into immediate, boiling fury. She had slammed the car into the park and thrown open her door, stepping out into the freezing storm. "Are you completely out of your mind?!" she had shrieked over the roar of the wind, her voice dripping with venom. "Do you have any idea who I am? Do you know what this car costs? You could have ruined my bumper, you pathetic waste of space!" The figure hadn't flinched. He wore a heavy dark coat, the rain sliding off his broad shoulders. Slowly, he had raised his head. Evangeline’s breath caught in her throat, though she refused to show it. He was breathtaking—sculpted like an ancient myth, with sharp, lethal jawlines and dark hair clinging to his forehead. But it was his eyes that stopped her dead in her tracks. They weren't brown or black; they were empty. Void of emotion, void of light, staring through her as if she were nothing more than a speck of dust on a windshield. "You speak of ruin," the man had spoken, his voice a low, resonant baritone that vibrated straight into her chest, ignoring the howling storm entirely. "Yet you carry yourself as though you own the earth you tread upon." "I do own it!" she had spat back, stepping closer, her arrogance blinding her to the aura of sheer danger radiating off him. "My family built this city! A single word from me and you’d spend the rest of your miserable life in a cell! Move out of my way before I run you down myself!" The stranger had smiled then, a cold, terrifying tilt of his lips that contained zero warmth. He didn't move away. Instead, in a blur of movement faster than humanly possible, he closed the distance between them. Before she could scream, his hand rose. His fingers, impossibly cold, lightly brushed against her jawline. A shock wave of arctic cold had pierced her skin, freezing the air in her lungs. "Your pride is your temple," he had whispered, his empty dark eyes locking onto hers with absolute authority. "And your beauty is your weapon. Let us see how brightly your crown shines when the marble begins to rot." She had shoved his hand away, terrified, scrambling back into her car and locking the doors. When she turned the headlights back onto the road, he was gone. Vanished into the mist as if he had never been there at all. Back in the present, sitting among the broken glass of her room, Evangeline touched her jaw with trembling fingers. It wasn't a disease. It wasn't an allergy. It was a curse. That stranger—that terrifying, beautiful monster in the rain, had laid his hand upon her and ruined her life. Suddenly, the ambient light in the bedroom flickered and dimmed. The air temperature plummeted so drastically that her breath bloomed into small white clouds in front of her face. The shadows in the corner of the room seemed to stretch, twisting and pooling together until they formed a silhouette. From the darkness, a figure stepped into the pale morning light filtering through the shattered balcony doors. It was him. Malakai stood at the edge of the room, looking down at her smashed mirrors, his expression as blank and cold as the day they met. Behind him, looming like quiet phantoms in the doorways, stood two other men, one with sharp, calculating eyes that seemed to read her very thoughts, and another with a dark, mocking smirk playing on his lips. "Looking for a cure, Miss Cross?" Malakai asked softly, his cold voice echoing in the silent room. "I am afraid No doctor in this realm can fix what I have broken."
