I relived the moments of the ambush in my dreams, as I tried to piece together what went wrong, but it was impossible to do because at every turn I fell into an unseen darkness.

I didn't know how long I was asleep, but I soon opened my eyes, slowly embracing the light with open arms. I flickered my eyes, trying my best to get comfortable in my newfound light.
