We talked for so long that time passed by so easily, it felt like old times again, and honestly, I loved that I had my best friend back in my life. I told him all about my son and, of course, my little dilemma with the two men I am mated with.
'' So you are telling me that you have two mates, and I can not find one for myself,'' He asked and I chuckled.
'' Can I tell you a secret?'' He asked and I nodded immediately.
'' Of course, forgive me, but I like a little gossip,'' I answered, smiling so widely.
''You know, growing up, I always thought we were going to be mated and have a little family just like your father had, but I guess the goddess didn't deem me worthy of you,'' Alaric let out, and honestly I was surprised.
