Bola and Timi have been married for eleven years and are blessed with four kids. All are twins. Taiwo and Kenny are the first twin, then Bolaji and Bolanle came after.
At the office, Bola's phone rang, it was from the children school. She picked the call.
'Hello! Good morning Mrs. Ademola' The accountant greeted.
' Good morning. I hope there's no problem' she sounded worried.
'Ma'am it's the seventh week and we've not received any news concerning the children's remaining fees'
'Remaining fees!' Shocked by what the accountant said.
She'd never owed the school money for anything so how come?
Timi should have paid the remains.
'Has my husband not paid?'
'Madam he hasn't' the accountant answered.
Why would Timi not have paid the kid's remains.
'So how much is it?'
'You paid half, so the remaining is about Two hundred and fifty thousand Naira.'
'Hmmmm... I'll send half and he'll send the remaining.' '
' Ma'am please be fast in doing so, cause they're about to be sent out of school '
' I'll do it now. Sorry for the inconvenience. '
She sent half of the money to the school.
Bola was lost in thoughts. What would have made Timi to forget about the kids remains.
Bola worked at Jory's law firm.
After she closed from work, she visited Timi's firm but he wasn't around.
She went to the market to buy a few things, then later drove home.
The kids were at the sitting room watching TV when they heard the sound of the doorbell.
Bolanle knew it was her mom and ran to get the door.
'Mummy!' She jumped on her mother. The others greeted her.
'How are you?' she replied
' Mummy I'm hungry' Bolaji said as he rubbed his tummy.
'Foodie' Kehinde laughed at him.
Bolaji cried and went to meet his mom.
' Kenny don't call your brother a foodie. It's not a nice thing to say' she scolded him.
'Mummy we were almost sent out of school today.' Taiwo looked at her in disappointment.
'I'm so sorry my dear.' she snapped 'That reminds me where's your father?'
'He's in the bedroom'
She went up to the room to meet him.
' Hey baby' Timi said as he glanced at her.
' Don't baby me, how could you forget about the children's fees' she was really pissed.
'Oh s**t! I forgot, I'm sorry' He drew her closer to him. 'it's just that the case I'm working on is very stressful and it's giving me problems. I'm sorry.'
She pecked him.' Ah! Your body is hot. ' she sounded worried.
'Yeah, I'm having headache that's all. So about the kid's fees, What did the accountant say about it.'
'I paid half of what remains'
'Oh Darling! You're a life saver. I love you'
'Love you more baby. Don't forget to pay the remaining.' She smiled.
Timi stood up and fell on his knees.
'What are you doing? Get up!'
'Will you be mine forever?' He asked as he brought out a ring.
Surprised and confused she knelt down in excitement and hugged him. 'Yes baby! Yes!'
He wore the ring on her finger.
'Babe this is a Vel diamond ring' she hugged and kissed him.
'Why would you spend so much on this?' He kept his hands on her lips.
'You're worth more than a diamond ring, My love!'
They looked into each other's eyes and began French kissing.
Bola snapped out 'I have to cook I'll be back'
'But I was eating already' She looked at him and blushed .
' I'm starving, and I really want to eat you up' He said romantically and drew her closer.
' I need to cook for the kids. When I'm done, I'll give you any delicacy you want. Name it'
'Hmm..' He smiled 'Naughty girl' They both bursted into laughter, then she went to change.
She went to the kitchen to cook. When she was done she served the food and sent Bolanle to call Timi down.
When they were done eating, the kids went up to their room leaving their parents.
Timi carried Bola up to the room to finish what they had started.
