"Did this woman go to a different room? I don't know her."

That made my heart broken and my eyes trembled, "W-what? I'm—Louis your w-wife—." I said trembling. Wondering, 'what could have gone wrong?'

Everyone was silent, and Erianna said, "Just let her be, maybe she couldn't help but stop by because of your good looks."

They both laughed at my face, and I did nothing but look at them both.

I was stunned at what she said, and before I couldn't open my mouth.

Ash said, "Get out of here while I'm being polite, and why are you claiming to be my wife? Are you out of your mind?" Ash's eyes were cold, and that was the first time.

"That right! Get her out of here!" Ash's father said to me.

I tried to look at my mother, but she did nothing but stare at me, 'what the hell did I do wrong?' that was the question that swirled on my mind.

My world was crushed as I was being dragged out of the hospital lifeless.

"Why am I the only one he doesn't remember?"

"Why?"

——

Ashley and Louis were tied into a secret relationship because of their grandparents' agreement. Ashley was born with a golden spoon in his mouth, whilst Louis was only the spoon itself.

They lived in a completely different world— yet after the bind was affixed, they in time managed to understand each other's hues. But it wasn't only acceptance they need to keep the marriage floating.

As soon as their feelings grew, a hurdle fell upon the couple. Utterly placing what they had built in the beginning point. Ash had amnesia that the only one he forgot was her...

Forgotten
Louis and Ash were childhood friends, so they did not have a problem getting into marriage because Ash did love Louis even though Louis's Grandfather and Ash's Grandmother reconciled them. After the wedding, Louis's grandfather passed, and Ash's grandmother also followed, it was a sad moment, but everyone knew that they were waiting for the two to get married so they could rest. Ash and Louis had been married for four years now, and it was a steady relationship. Even if it was only a secret just to honor their grandparents. But between the two of them, Louis hides it the most, she doesn't want to be discovered, and when she goes out and comes home, she wants to wrap herself up, not be noticed by someone. Everyone was curious about Ash's mysterious wife who is still unknown. Ash doesn't want to keep it a secret, but because Louis comes from an average family she chooses to keep it a secret for Ash's image and also for the reality that Ash's father hates her as he continues to set up Ash with different girls with respected family in the industry that crashes Louis now and then. They were a happy couple, despite always being away from each other because of their daily lives, but nothing changed. They were still in love since the day they confirmed their feelings for each other, but after this one incident, everything changes. ---- Louis's Point of view... I entered a cafe-like restaurant and the smell of brewed coffee embraced my nose. I continued to walk on the elegant floor when I heard my name shouted from the farthest left side of the cafe and then from there I saw Janine. As I was getting closer I started to feel shy about my appearance with an unsure feeling I sat in front of her with a smile. "Wow, girl! I know you do a lot but shouldn't you take some rest?" asked Janine who was sitting in front of me, and I just got my compact mirror and looked at myself. My eyes were about to give up because of the size of the eyebags, my skin looked pale, and my lips were dry like a withered vegetable left alone in the marketplace. I sighed. "I'm fine, but what is it that you wanter to me meet me so badly? Problem with boys?" I asked her as I shipped the coffee we ordered. There were a lot of students around, and they were looking at Janine who looked stunning, but who can blame them? Who would look at you when you look this dreadful? Janine breathed heavily and said, "My dad set me up on a blind date, and he didn't come. I guess my dad's not backing down." Janine laughed, but there was sadness on her face, and I smiled, "Cheer up! They don't know who they wasted, okay?" I just smiled at her. Janine clicked her tongue, and she scattered her purse as she faced me, her hand approached my lips and placed the red tint on my lip giving life to it. "I don't know what's going on and if your restaurant is dragging you or making you look like this--" Janine said while returning what she took from her purse and added, "Just to let you know---I'm here and you're not alone." I smiled and thought to myself: "If only I could tell you, Janine, it would help." Janine looked the other way, and I still had time to wipe the tears forming in my eyes. The day went by, and we parted ways. I thought meeting Janine would help to ease what I feel but it made it worse. 'what would I do? I don't want to lose hope but, the situation's hard.' I walked to the hospital, and first went to the nearby drug store and got what I needed after working so hard. I couldn't paint a portrait to ease my feelings because of my bruised hand. After I got the medicine my eyes twitched as I held a bag of fruits, then went straight to the hospital, and when I entered the elevator door, I don't know why I feel so heavy. The door of the elevator closed, and I saw what I looked like. I look like a mess. A huge mess. I saw how my eyes were puffed against the stainless door, my clothes were like they hadn't been washed for several days, and my hair was tied but messed up. I can't believe that I've gone out looking at this and then I saw my lips were red and it made me look presentable. I let down my hair and tried to comb and pin my hair properly then went on to walk towards Ash's door. Ash's door yes, he got in a huge car accident and has been here in this hospital for more than 8 months. Luckily this hospital belonged to his family, and that made those 8 months hassle-free for those medical fees, his life sustainer machine was being paid by them and I presented to be his guard as a payment for all he had done for me. I was like this for 8 months now. Life-less. Unmotivated---like a robot that works on her own and never gets tired. It was pretty hard, but I didn't lose hope thinking that he would soon wake up, but I'm slowly losing hope... I opened the door just to see my mother and my sister holding the hand of the person who was sitting now and his eyes wide open smiling at Erianna. I dropped my things and slowly approached him. I can barely drag my foot and as our eyes met, his eye turned cold as I looked at everyone inside the room and they were all smirking at me, and I was so confused. I got close to Ash and was about to hold his left hand when he had it removed before I could touch it. Ash then looked at Erianna and said, "Did this woman go to a different room? I don't know her."
